Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to FIGS.
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a vacuum cleaner body, which is not shown, but has a dust collection chamber in the front and an electric blower chamber in which an electric blower is built in the rear. Reference numeral 2 denotes a flexible hose having a main body side connecting pipe 3 which is detachably connected to the connection port of the cleaner body 1 on one end side, and a proximal side connecting pipe 4 on the other end side. Yes. Reference numeral 5 denotes an extension pipe that is detachably attached to the hand side connection pipe 4 of the hose 2, and 6 is a floor suction tool that is detachably attached to the extension pipe 5.
Next, the hand side connecting pipe 4 will be described in detail with reference to FIG. A gripping portion 7 is integrally formed on the upper surface side of the proximal side connecting pipe 4. The grip portion 7 includes a lower member 8 formed integrally with the proximal connection pipe 4 and a cover member 9 that covers the upper surface opening of the lower member 8 and is fixed to the lower member 8 with screws or the like. A substrate (not shown) is accommodated in a space surrounded by the cover member 9 and the cover member 9. An operation unit 10 for operating a switch provided on the substrate is formed at a front position of the gripping unit 7, and the suction force and the like can be controlled by operating the switch with the operation unit 10 while gripping the gripping unit 7. It is like that.
Reference numeral 11 denotes a handle portion disposed on the lower surface side of the proximal side connecting pipe 4 and is fixed to a position separated from the gripping portion 7 by 180 ° or the like. The handle portion 11 is provided with a lower portion of the extension tube 5 on the side of the extension tube 5 so as to prevent the handle portion 11 from interfering with cleaning when the extension tube 5 is removed and cleaning is performed by the hand side connection tube 4. It is formed in a shape that makes the protrusion to the side as small as possible.
The proximal side connecting pipe 4 is formed so as to be rotatable with respect to the hose 2 and is formed so that the hose 2 is not easily twisted when an operation such as twisting the proximal side connecting pipe 4 is performed with cleaning. ing.
Next, the floor suction tool 6 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. The floor suction tool 6 is supported by a main body case 14 composed of an upper case 12 and a lower case 13, and a longitudinally central portion of the rear portion of the main body case 14 that is rotatably supported in the left-right direction with respect to the main body case 14. The first rotating tube 15 and the second rotating tube 16 pivotally supported by the first rotating tube 15 and rotating in the vertical direction with respect to the body case 14 are provided. The extension pipe 5 is detachably connected. The first rotating tube 15 is provided with a mechanism (not shown) for maintaining the rotated state with a predetermined holding force in a state where the first rotating tube 15 is rotated about 90 ° in the left-right direction with respect to the main body case 14. The first rotating tube 15 can be rotated by rotating with a force greater than the holding force.
A suction port 17 is formed in the main body case 14 from the bottom surface to the front surface. A rotating brush 18 facing the suction port 17 is rotatably supported inside the main body case 14, and the rotating brush 18 is rotated by an electric motor 19. A bumper 20 is disposed on both side surfaces of the main body case 14 and is fixed between the upper case 12 and the lower case 13.
A rear wheel 21 is pivotally supported at a rear position on the bottom surface of the main body case 14 and a brushed cloth 22 is adhered to both front positions from the bottom surface to the front surface. Is moved on the surface to be cleaned by the rear wheel 21 and the raised cloth 22. Although the raised fabric 22 is used in the present embodiment, the front wheels may be used, or other sliding means may be used.
23 is a cover body that opens and closes the front portion of the suction port 17 and constitutes the front wall of the main body case 14. The cover body 23 is pivotally supported on both sides of the main body case 14 so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction, and is stored in a storage portion 24 formed in the main body case 14 in a state of being rotated upward. ing. The cover body 23 is constantly urged in a direction to close the front portion of the suction port 17 by an urging means such as a spring (not shown).
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the cover body 23 has an upper portion formed in a substantially arc shape in cross section, and an upper substantially arc-shaped portion is accommodated in the accommodating portion 24. Further, the cover body 23 is formed with a bulging portion 25 projecting diagonally forward and upward across the entire width of the main body case 14 at the lower portion of the upper substantially arc-shaped portion.
26 is a roller that is rotatably supported by the cover body 23 at both sides in the width direction of the floor suction tool 6 on a substantially extension line of the bulging portion 25. In the state in which the cover body 23 is rotated upward, The rotation axis of the roller 26 is substantially vertical, and when the cover body 23 is closed, the rotation axis of the roller 26 is supported so as to be inclined. The tip of the roller 26 is formed in a hemispherical shape, and when the cover body 23 is closed, the bulging portion 25 is positioned forward from the tip of the roller 26, and the outer peripheral portion is in a state where the cover body 23 is rotated upward. It is configured to be positioned in front of the bulging portion 25.
The cover body 23 is formed with an inclined surface 27 on a plane that faces the main body case 14 as it goes downward at a position below the bulging portion 25, and the inclined surface 27 has the cover body 23 facing upward. It is formed so as to be substantially parallel to the wall surface in a rotated state. Since the inclined surface 27 is substantially parallel to the wall surface at the upper rotation position of the cover body 23, the rotating brush 18 can be brought close to or in contact with the wall surface, and the cleaning efficiency at the wall side can be improved.
At the lower end on the front side of the cover body 23, an extended portion 28 is formed so as to protrude across the entire width in the width direction of the cover body 23 in succession to the inclined surface 27. Is formed so as to be substantially perpendicular to the surface to be cleaned. When an object lower than the bulging portion 25, such as a magazine, is placed on the surface to be cleaned, the inclined surface 27 of the cover body 23 comes into contact with the object, and the cover body 23 moves along with the movement of the floor suction tool 6. The cover body 23 is prevented from rotating when the object comes into contact with the extended portion 28. The cover body 23 extends the extending portion 28 downward as much as possible so as not to prevent suction of relatively large dust from the front, thereby reducing the gap between the lower end and the floor surface. In the closed state, children's fingers are prevented from entering. Since the extending portion 28 is formed in a substantially vertical direction when the cover body 23 is rotated downward, the extending direction of the inclined surface 27 can be extended even if the extending portion 28 is formed so as to reduce the gap with the surface to be cleaned. Compared with the case of extending to, the distance from the rotating brush 18 can be prevented from becoming narrow. In the present embodiment, the distance between the lower end of the cover body 23 and the floor surface is set to about 4 mm.
29 is a raised cloth adhered to a portion of the front surface of the cover body 23 that comes into contact with the wall surface, and is formed so as to go downward from the both ends in the width direction of the cover body 23 toward the center. The lower end is rolled up and pasted on the back side. The brushed fabric 29 has a lower end portion of the cover body 23 when the rear side of the floor suction tool 6 is lifted by winding the lower end from the front side of the cover body 23 and sticking the back side to the back side. Prevents the surface to be cleaned from coming into contact with the surface to be cleaned.
On the back side of the cover body 23, as shown in FIG. 11, a sticking portion 30 to which the raised cloth 29 is stuck is recessed, and the sticking portion 30 is stuck to the sticking portion 30. Since the upper end portion of the brushed fabric 29 extends upward to a position where the brush disposed on the rotating brush 18 does not contact, it is possible to prevent the upper end of the brushed fabric 29 from being peeled off by the brush of the rotating brush 18. it can. The raised cloth 29 has a tip positioned in front of the roller 26, and the roller 26 comes into contact with the wall surface while the raised cloth 29 is in contact with the wall surface and deformed.
Thus, in the normal cleaning state, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 6, the cover body 23 is rotated downward by the urging means, and the front portion of the suction port 17 is closed by the cover body 23. Only the lower part of the mouth 17 is open. Therefore, since no loss of air volume occurs, a desired air volume is obtained at the lower portion of the suction port 17 and the scraping effect of the rotating brush 18 is added, so that the surface to be cleaned 400 can be efficiently cleaned. . Since the handle portion 11 is disposed on the lower surface side of the hand side connection tube 4, even if the grip portion 7 is gripped and pushed and pulled, the handle portion 11 does not interfere with the operation, and the user can use it easily. There is no loss.
On the other hand, when cleaning the wall, the front surface of the floor suction tool 6 is pressed against the wall surface W as shown in FIGS. Then, first, the bulging portion 25 of the cover body 23 comes into contact with the wall surface W, and the cover body 23 is lifted upward while rotating clockwise in FIG. 7, and as shown in FIG. The roller 26 is opened and the roller 26 comes into contact with the wall surface W, so that a gap is maintained between the bulging portion 25 and the wall surface W. In this state, the rotating brush 18 can be brought close to the wall surface W, and dust near the wall can be removed to the vicinity of the wall surface W.
And in the state which pressed the front surface of the suction tool 6 for floors against the wall surface W, the suction tool 6 for floors is moved to a horizontal direction, and the edge of a wall is cleaned. At that time, since the raised fabrics 22 and 29 and the roller 26 abut against the wall surface W, the floor suction tool 6 can be moved in the lateral direction with good operability.
When the floor suction tool 6 is moved in the lateral direction with the front surface of the floor suction tool 6 pressed against the wall surface W, the grip portion 7 and the handle portion formed on the proximal side connection pipe 4 at the tip of the hose 2. 11 can be gripped by hands and moved laterally with both hands, and the lateral operability can be further improved.
Next, an operation for cleaning a gap between a wall surface and furniture or between furniture and furniture will be described. The gripping part 7 and the handle part 11 of the hand side connection pipe 4 are each gripped by hand and rotated so as to be turned upside down so that the handle part 11 is positioned upward.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 3, and 4, the case where the proximal side connecting pipe 4 is rotated leftward (counterclockwise) as viewed from the user will be described as an example. As shown in FIG. 4, when the proximal side connecting pipe 4 is rotated about 90 ° counterclockwise (counterclockwise), the extension pipe 5 is also rotated with the rotation of the proximal side connecting pipe 4, and the first rotating pipe 15 is rotated. Rotate about 90 ° to the left. When the first rotating tube 15 rotates, the second rotating tube 16 rotates, and accordingly, as shown in FIG. 4, the main body case 14 rotates counterclockwise in plan view.
From this state, when the proximal side connecting tube 4 is further rotated leftward (counterclockwise), the rear portion of the main body case 14 is lifted upward with the front end portion (the cover body 23 side) as a fulcrum. In the state where the hand side connection pipe 4 is rotated by 180 °, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 7 to 9, the cover body 23 is opened, and the front side portion of the suction port 17 of the main body case 14 is opposed to the floor surface. Erect posture (upright posture). In this state, as shown in FIG. 9, the longitudinal direction of the main body case 14 extends along the extending direction of the second rotary tube 16, and the first rotary tube 15 is moved to the main body case 14 by the holding means. The rotating position is held.
In this state, the floor suction tool 6 is inserted into the gap between the wall surface and the furniture, and the gap between the wall surface and the furniture is cleaned by holding the handle 11 and moving the floor suction tool 6 in the front-rear direction. To do. Since the first rotating tube 15 is held by the holding means in a state along the longitudinal direction of the main body case 14 with respect to the main body case 14, the first rotating tube 15 even if the floor suction tool 6 is moved in the front-rear direction. The body case 14 does not rotate with respect to 15, and the operability is not impaired.
In this state, the raised cloths 22 and 29 and the roller 26 are in contact with the floor surface, improving the mobility of the floor suction tool 6 and preventing the floor surface from being damaged. Since the cover body 23 rotates and the air inlet 17 opens on the front side of the floor suction tool 6 facing the floor surface, dust or the like in the gap between the wall surface and the furniture can be efficiently sucked. In addition, since the hand side connecting pipe 4 is formed to be rotatable with respect to the hose 2, the hand side connecting pipe 4 is prevented from being twisted even if the hand side connecting pipe 4 is rotated about 180 ° from the normal use state. There is no loss of selfishness.
Further, as shown in FIG. 10, the raised cloth 29 is formed so as to become downward from the both ends in the width direction of the cover body 23 toward the center, and the central portion is wrapped around the lower end of the cover body 23 and pasted over the back surface side. When cleaning the gap between the wall surface and furniture in an upright position, dust is guided by the raised cloth 29 toward the suction port 17 as the floor suction tool 6 moves, It is possible to efficiently suck dust accumulated in a gap with furniture.
The electric vacuum cleaner of the present embodiment enables wiping cleaning by wrapping a wet sheet around the peripheral surface of the rotary brush 18 of the floor suction tool 6, and its configuration and control operation will be described below. The “wet sheet” is a cleaning sheet that is mainly used for cleaning flooring of private houses in recent years, and is generally a cleaning sheet in which moisture and alcohol are impregnated into a nonwoven fabric. For example, “Quickle Wiper” (registered trademark) is well known. The wet sheet is attached to a dedicated instrument (having a rectangular mounting plate at the end of a stick) and used to wipe floor surfaces such as flooring.
The present applicant has already proposed such a configuration, considering that such a wet sheet can be mounted on a vacuum cleaner, and that the vacuum cleaner can also perform wiping cleaning with a wet sheet (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2005). -304954 etc.).
In this embodiment, unlike the previous proposal, wiping and cleaning using a wet sheet is performed by winding the wet sheet around a rotating brush 18 provided in the floor suction tool 6 of the vacuum cleaner.
First, the wet sheet is spread and placed on the floor surface, and the floor suction tool 6 is placed on the wet sheet so that the rotary brush 18 faces the position near the tip of the wet sheet. In this state, the switch of the operation unit 10 is operated.
In response to this operation, the rotary brush 18 and the electric blower are driven, and the wet sheet is wound around the peripheral surface of the rotary brush 18. More specifically, the rotating brush 18 is rotated forward at a predetermined rotation speed in accordance with the switch operation of the operation unit 10. Thereby, the wet sheet is wound around the peripheral surface of the rotating brush 18 that rotates from the tip side. In this state, the rotation of the rotary brush 18 allows the floor surface to be wiped with a wet sheet while sucking dust with the suction force of the electric blower.
When wiping and cleaning is completed, if the switch of the operation unit 10 is operated, the rotary brush 18 is driven and controlled so as to alternate forward / reverse rotation according to the operation, and the suction force is increased. The electric blower is driven. The wet sheet wound around the rotating brush 18 is detached by rotating the rotating brush 18 alternately forward / reversely and separated from the rotating brush 18, and is sucked by the vacuum cleaner by the suction force of the electric blower. Therefore, the user can automatically remove the wet sheet from the rotating brush 18 without gripping the dirty wet sheet, and the usability can be improved.
In the above embodiment, the raised fabric 29 is formed so as to be downward as it goes from the both ends in the width direction of the cover body 23 to the center, and the center portion is wrapped around the lower end of the cover body 23 and adhered to the back side. Yes. When the wet sheet wrapped around the rotating brush 18 is removed, the rotating brush 18 is alternately rotated forward / reversely and the suction force of the electric blower is controlled to be strong. In addition to expanding to the outer peripheral side, the suction force of the electric blower attracts the central portion of the floor suction tool 6, so that the wet sheet comes into contact with the raised cloth 29 and vibrations are generated or the wet sheet comes off. There may be no cases.
When the above problem occurs, it is preferable that the rotating brush 18 is disposed at a position corresponding to the vicinity of both ends as shown in FIG. In this configuration, when the wet sheet wound around the rotary brush 18 is removed, the wet sheet is less likely to contact the raised cloth 29, and the operation of automatically removing the wet sheet is not impaired.
Although the floor suction tool 6 of this embodiment has the rotating brush 18, it does not need to comprise a rotating brush.
The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the claims.
