Abstract
본 발명은 Mg합금용 Mg-Al-Ca계 모합금 및 이의 제조 방법으로, 마그네슘 또는 마그네슘 합금에 사용되는 합금화용 모합금에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 합금의 중량%로 Ca:Al이 7:3에서 1:9 사이의 조성비를 유지하면서, 나머지는 Mg가 중량%로 모합금 전체 중량의 85%까지 첨가된 것을 특징으로 한다. 제조 방법으로는 합금의 중량%로 Ca:Al이 7:3에서 1:9 사이의 조성비를 유지하면서, 나머지는 Mg가 중량%로 모합금 전체 중량의 85%까지의 조성 중 하나를 결정하여 모합금의 각 성분들을 준비하는 단계, Mg, Al 그리고 Ca 중 하나를 순차적으로 용해하는 단계, 충분한 열량을 가하여 상기 성분들을 완전히 용해시키는 단계, 상기 용해된 용탕을 급냉하는 단계를 포함한다.
