Abstract

카본 섬유(carbon fiber)를 발열체로 사용하고 발열체의 외표면이 테플론에 의해 절연되는 발열 장치 및 이를 구비하는 액체 가열장치가 개시된다. 상기 발열 장치는 카본 섬유를 포함하는 발열체가 다수의 열 또는 행을 포함하는 형상 또는 지그재그 형상을 이루면서 배치된 발열부; 및 상기 발열부가 외부와 절연되도록 상기 발열부를 불소수지에 의해 덮는 절연부;를 포함한다. 그리고, 상기 액체 가열장치는 액체를 수용하는 하우징; 및 상기 하우징 내부에 설치되어 액체를 가열하는 발열장치;를 포함하여 구성된다. 이러한 발열장치 및 액체 가열장치에 의하면, 탄소 섬유를 포함하는 발열체의 외부를 불소수지로 이루어지는 절연부로 덮음으로써 탄소의 휘발을 막을 수 있어 발열체의 수명이 증대할 뿐만 아니라 높은 발열온도에서도 안정적으로 작용할 수 있고, 액체 속에서도 안정적인 절연성능의 확보가 가능하다는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
