- the reaction furnace has a function of WHB (Waste Heat Boiler) in order to effectively use the reaction heat generated by the Claus reaction.
- WHB Waste Heat Boiler
- the reaction gas is primarily cooled and heat is recovered as high-pressure steam. Since sulfur compounds such as hydrogen sulfide and sulfur oxide remain in the reaction gas, the SRU further heats the first cooled reaction gas with low-pressure steam in order to sulfurize unreacted hydrogen sulfide.

- a device arranged between a plurality of devices arranged is movably arranged with respect to the plurality of fixed devices, and even when the temperature is increased by a high-temperature Claus reaction or a catalytic Claus reaction, thermal stress is present.
- the second reheater reheats the condensed gas discharged from the second sulfur condenser
- the second catalytic Claus reactor causes the reaction gas discharged from the second reheater to undergo a catalytic Claus reaction, And further comprising condensing sulfur contained in the reaction gas by cooling the reaction gas discharged from the second catalytic Claus reactor with a third sulfur condenser, and the reheater and the second reheater.
- at least one of the catalytic Claus reactor, the second catalytic Claus reactor, the second and third sulfur condensers, and the separator, and the reactor is fixedly disposed with respect to the ground.
- the reaction furnace 2 burns hydrogen sulfide together with air sent from the air blower 1 at a high temperature to oxidize the hydrogen sulfide and separate it into sulfur (S2) and water (H2O). This reaction is called “high temperature Claus reaction”.
- the high temperature Claus reaction will be described later using Equations 1 and 2.
- the reaction furnace 2 includes a waste heat boiler 3.
- the waste heat boiler 3 heat-reacts the reaction gas with boiler feed water (BFW), thereby cooling the reaction gas and generating high-pressure or medium-pressure steam.
- BFW boiler feed water
- the first Claus reactor 31 generates a catalyst Claus reaction by bringing the reaction gas discharged from the first sulfur condenser 11 into contact with the oxidation catalyst layer and the Claus catalyst layer, thereby generating sulfur.
- the catalytic Claus reaction generates sulfur according to the same chemical reaction equation as in Equation 2, but the reaction temperature is lower than the high temperature Claus reaction and is performed at a temperature above the dew point temperature of sulfur (240 to 350 ° C.).
- the reaction gas cooled and discharged by the sulfur condenser is heated to the reaction temperature of the catalytic Claus reaction by the reheater and supplied to the Claus reactor.
- the positional relationship between the anti-slip member and the sliding plate can be determined by the relationship with the frictional force of the equipment. When the weight of the device is large and the frictional force is large, the device is difficult to move, so the distance between the anti-slip member and the sliding plate is reduced.
- FIG. 8 is a plan view showing an arrangement example of the reaction furnace and the sulfur condenser.
- the pipe 4A connecting the reaction furnace 2 and the first condenser 11 shown in FIG. 8 does not connect between the opposing devices, but the nozzles 2-2 and 11 on the side surface of the devices. -2 are connected to each other and have a U-shape. Since the reactor 2 is fixed to the ground, the connecting portion between the pipe 4A and the reactor 2 is restrained, and the downstream side can move from the connecting portion, but the first condenser 11 is between the ground. Since a frictional force is generated by its own weight, thermal stress is generated in the pipe 4A.
- the expansion loop as shown in FIG. 1 is an additional shape attached in the middle of the pipe, whereas the U-shape shown in FIG. 8 is used for connecting the nozzles on the side of the device. It differs in that it is an essential shape. Further, the expansion loop absorbs thermal expansion and contraction that occurs in a pipe whose movement is restricted, whereas the U-shape shown in FIG. 8 is different in that it is a pipe itself that is not restricted in thermal expansion and contraction. Thus, it is necessary to provide an expansion loop in the middle of the piping even when a frictional force is generated when the movable device moves by making the piping into a U shape that does not restrain thermal expansion and contraction depending on the nozzle position and piping of the device. Therefore, the SRU layout can be reduced.
- the reaction gas discharged from the reheater is subjected to catalytic Claus reaction (S104).
- the reaction gas discharged from the Claus reactor is cooled to condense sulfur (S105).
- S104 catalytic Claus reaction
- S105 condense sulfur
- a plurality of sets of sulfur condensers, reheaters, and reactors are provided. Depending on the number of sets, the condensation step of S102 and the heating step of S103 , And the catalyst Claus reaction step of S104 and the condensation step of S105 are repeated.

Abstract
