Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé destiné à traiter un matériau à base d'amidon. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à liquéfier le matériau à base d'amidon en présence d'une enzyme de liquéfaction de façon à former une boue et à cribler la boue par l'intermédiaire d'un ou de plusieurs dispositifs de criblage à vibrations de façon à former un premier courant de filtrat et un premier résidu de filtration. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à mélanger le premier résidu de filtration avec de l'eau de façon à former une boue intermédiaire et à cribler la boue intermédiaire par l'intermédiaire d'un ou de plusieurs dispositifs de criblage à vibrations de façon à former un second courant de filtrat et un second résidu de filtration. Le procédé comprend également une étape consistant à former une boue fraîche en utilisant le second courant de filtrat et éventuellement une partie du premier courant de filtrat. Le procédé comprend également les étapes consistant à stériliser et à refroidir les premier et second courants de filtrat et à faire fermenter les courants refroidis de façon à former un produit de fermentation.
