La présente invention, dans un mode de réalisation préféré, concerne des compositions à base de plantes pour augmenter et améliorer la production laitière chez un sujet. La présente invention concerne également les procédés de préparation et diverses formes d'administration desdites compositions. Lesdites compositions sont constituées au moins en partie de Dioscorea bulbifera.
