- the battery is a Li-ion rechargeable battery or a Titanium-Lithium rechargeable battery, and, a Battery charger/adapter 236 is used to charge either of the two kinds of batteries, using AC power supply, or, the said present inventive device can be charged using a portable battery charger.
- Battery charger/adapter 236 is used to charge either of the two kinds of batteries, using AC power supply, or, the said present inventive device can be charged using a portable battery charger.
- Diversity in functionality of numerous components in the present inventive device requires different power rail voltages, with each rail having growing power demands and application-specific requirements.
- Voltage conversion circuit 230 generates different voltages as dictated by the Power Management IC 228 to meet the voltage requirements so as to maximize battery life.
- the EucliStar Forgetless GreeetWatz or WonderStar GreeetWatz can be programmed to first use the voice-signature of the authorized registered user that has been initially accepted and stored in the said present inventive device's memory and instantaneously compares it to the succeeding voice-signature of the user as a first biometric tool to unlock the functions of the iris biometric comparative means (using the built-in camera) as an added security layer of protection for the secret data/information stored in the said present inventive device (when programmed that way).
- the Biometric (Iris) scanner 242 using the built-in camera) will then unlock and render accessible the needed and allowable features, functions and capabilities to its corresponding registered owner only, also when programmed that way).
- the iris biometric tool used is the uniqueness of one's iris, the picture of which can be taken by the Camera 160 (in the block diagram), then stored in the RAM 222 to be used as the initial reference for comparison biometric tool, requiring the Camera 160 (in the block diagram) as the Biometric (Iris) scanner 242 when capturing the succeeding iris scan(s) of the respective registered user or owner for accurate iris biometric matching (when required), in order to properly operate the present inventive device or Global i-GreeetWatz, while excluding others who are not authorized to use the respective properly registered present inventive device.
- the one layer of security is the ability to use the Microphone 204 via the Audio/Video CODEC 198 to provide a voice-enabled or voice-activated PIN/Password 244 in order to unlock the functions, features and capabilities of the present inventive device.
- both layers of security can work together for more stringent security.
- each biometric tool voice-biometrics and iris- biometrics if programmed, can act separately, and can be enabled to function independently from each other.
- the Global i-GreeetWatz or WonderStar GreeetWatz or EucliStar Forgetless GreeetWatz also has the ability to pair with other electronic devices through IR (infrared) communication, among others. This is achieved by the IR-Transceiver 246 which connects to and from the Baseband Processor 150a of CPU 150 for processing.
- the signals from the IR-Transceiver 246 are amplified by the Power Amplifier 248.
- the amplified signals are transmitted by the Antenna 250. This allows, for example, to control the compatibly paired and wirelessly linked activated registered owner's TV, DVR, DVD player, and also to control and be receptive and responsive other paired new adaptable home phone, office phone, cell phone and other adaptable gadgets, etc, all to and from a unique and reliable
- the said present inventive device can also act as a substitute to the universal remote controls currently in use these days applicable to TVs or music centers, and other current remote controls, etc.
