Abstract
The invention is a device that stores electrical energy by converting the electrical energy into hydrogen and oxygen gases and then using the hydrogen and oxygen gases to generate electricity as needed. The invention includes AC and DC feed connections to feed electricity to the energy storage device. The electrolyzer uses this electricity with water and creates hydrogen and oxygen which are stored in tanks until needed. Control valves meter the stored gases to a fuel cell, which converts the hydrogen and oxygen gases back into electricity. The output from the fuel cell is then fed to a grid tie inverter for feed to an electrical grid as AC current or is used to supply electricity directly to an electrical device or system as desired.
