Abstract

비실시간 3D 방송 콘텐츠를 시그널링 할 수 있는 방송 서비스 송신 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 방송 서비스 송신 장치는 기준 영상(Reference image) 및 부가 영상(Additional image)을 포함하는 스테레오스코픽 영상 콘텐츠를 인코딩하여 비실시간(Non-Real-Time, NRT) 스트림을 생성하는 NRT 콘텐츠 인코더와 상기 콘텐츠와 상응하는 서비스 맵 테이블(Service Map Table, SMT) 및 비실시간 정보 테이블(Non-Real-Time-Information Table, NRT-IT) 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 NRT 시그널링 정보를 생성하는 NRT 시그널링 정보 인코더 및 상기 비실시간 스트림 및 NRT 시그널링 정보를 다중화하여 수신 장치로 전송하는 다중화부를 포함할 수 있다. 따라서, 기준 영상 및 부가 영상이 듀얼 스트림 형태로 인코딩된 경우에도 콘텐츠의 제공이 가능하다.
