Die Rheologie kosmetischer Emulsionszubereitungen lassen sich durch Verdicker oder Konsistenzgeber beeinflussen. Mit Isopropylpalmitat gelingt die Viskositätseinstellung emulsionsbasierter Zubereitungen ohne derartige Zusätze.
