도8은 자동차 실내 정보 표시창에 적용된 화면 디자인으로, 세로쓰기 도입으로 인식성을 향상시킨 정보창을 구성하였다. 일반적인 운전자의 지각-반응 시간은 평균 2.5초이다. 따라서 운전자의 지각 시간을 줄여 반응시간을 앞당기게 되면 안전성이 향상될 것이다. 따라서 자동차 내부의 주요 정보 표시창인 클러스터, 허드(HUD)에 세로쓰기를 적용하여, 시선 분산을 막고, 효과적으로 운전에 집중할 수 있도록 도와 주는 기능을 수행한다. 이렇게 세로표기와 가로표기 내용에 규칙을 적용하여, 인식 속도를 향상시킨다. 8 is a screen design applied to a vehicle interior information display window, and the information window is improved by introducing vertical writing. 도9는 풀 터치 입력 방식 센터 페시아에 적용된 화면 디자인으로, 세로쓰기 도입으로 인식성을 향상시킨 정보창을 구성함. 자동차 운전시 수시로 상하로 움직이면서 계기판, 센터페시아, 전방을 살펴보게 되는 특성에 따라 세로쓰기를 도입하여, 시선 방향과 글씨가 일치되게 하여 인식과 조작 속도를 개선함. 최종적으로 시선 분산을 막고, 효과적으로 차량의 기능을 조작할 수 있도록 도와, 안전성을 향상시킴. 센터페시아는 탈부착이 가능하여, 주차 후 탈착하여 타블렛PC, PDA, 전자책으로 활용 가능함.  9 is a screen design applied to a full touch input method center fascia, and constitutes an information window having improved recognition by introducing vertical writing. 도14는 기존 모바일 기기의 유저 인터페이스들의 문제점을 설명한 도면으로, 일반 방식의 인터페이스들은 세로보기에서 가로보기로 전환 시 내용의 시작 위치가 변화되는 문제점과 화면 전환 애니메이션으로 인해, 기다림 발생. 글자를 재배열하기 위한 순간적인 깜빡임 현상 등이 나타남. 이러한 요소들이 인식 속도를 떨어지게 함. 도15는 가로/세로 글자를 인식 할 때, 나타나는 시각현상에 대한 설명. 가로읽기를 할 때에는 시야가 좁아져 한 줄씩만 인식가능하고 다른 내용을 인지하려면 다시 왼쪽으로 시선을 보내는, 지그재그(zigzag) 운동을 해야 한다. 하지만, 세로읽기와 가로읽기가 혼합된 하이브리드 유저 인터페이스에서는 세로줄 1을 보면서 빠르게 가로 1로 시선을 이동시켜 세로줄과 가로줄을 병행하여 빠른 인식이 가능하다. FIG. 14 is a view illustrating a problem of user interfaces of an existing mobile device, and a general interface has a waiting time due to a problem that a start position of a content is changed when switching from a portrait view to a landscape view and a screen change animation.
