Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de gestion d'un programme de récompenses accordées à des conducteurs. Ce système et ce procédé comprennent la réception de données incluant des informations relatives à l'adéquation du comportement d'un conducteur avec au moins un secteur de programme parmi plusieurs secteurs de programme liés au comportement des conducteurs de véhicules motorisés, ainsi que le stockage de ces données dans une base de données. Des points sont accordés au conducteur pour le récompenser lorsque son comportement est en adéquation avec ledit ou lesdits secteurs de programme. Des données concernant le carburant sont reçues, ces données comprenant la quantité de carburant achetée au cours d'une période écoulée, puis les points et la quantité de carburant achetée servent à déterminer un montant à affecter à un fonds d'exemption de franchise. Le montant du fonds d'exemption de franchise est stocké dans une mémoire, et, à la réception d'une déclaration de sinistre en provenance de l'assuré, une somme provenant du fonds est affectée à un montant de franchise devant être payé par cet assuré en ce qui concerne la déclaration de sinistre, puis le montant du fonds d'exemption de franchise est réduit d'autant.
