Abstract
The invention relates to an advanced hydraulic sweep turbine presenting a substantial advance in the field, said turbine being arranged around a rotating core (5) having sufficient tonnage for moving the turbine with a great amount of power in order to generate the horsepower required by the turbine, the revolution depending on a very high level of fluid pressure of the water interacting with the blades, said core comprising eight bowed blades (7) having a wide span and a rotation of 90 degrees, enabling the core to easily receive all of the pressure required by the turbine. The edges of the blades (7) are provided with a groove (16) having three openings for placing three springs (10.1), (10.2) and (10.3), enabling flexibility from the inside towards the outside, thereby forcing the joint element (8) to make contact with the cylinder (7.2) in order to seal the fluid pressure (9.2), preventing leakage and forming the sweep system for reducing the consumption of water required by the turbine by 90 % compared to other turbines.
