Abstract

Systems, methods and computer-readable storage mediums relate to processing two different modalities images of a patient to generate registered images. The processing may be based on three different registration criteria. The criteria may include determining similarities between surface and internal landmarks defined by geometric features and similarities between the anatomical features (e.g., bladder neck region) defined by volume overlap matching.
