- LTE-A Long Term Evolution Advanced
- Relay technology is also required to be compatible with LTE.
- FIG. 1 shows an example of a frame to which control signals and data are allocated in the LTE system and the LTE-A system.
- a downlink (DL: DownLink) control signal transmitted from a base station to a mobile station is transmitted by a downlink control channel such as PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control CHannel).
- PDCCH Physical Downlink Control CHannel
- DL grant that instructs DL data allocation and UL grant that instructs uplink (UL: UpLink) data allocation are transmitted by PDCCH.
- the DL grant notifies the mobile station that resources in the subframe in which this DL grant has been transmitted have been allocated.
- UL grant in the FDD system, UL grant informs the mobile station that resources in the target subframe 4 subframes after the subframe in which this UL grant is transmitted have been allocated.
- UL grant informs the mobile station that resources in the target subframe four or more subframes after the subframe in which this UL grant is transmitted have been allocated.
- the number of subframes in which UL grant is transmitted as a subframe to be allocated to a mobile station is determined by the time-division pattern for uplink and downlink (hereinafter referred to as “UL / DL configuration pattern ”).
- the UL subframe is a subframe that is four or more subframes after the subframe in which the UL grant is transmitted.
- the relay station transmits a control signal to the mobile station in the PDCCH area at the beginning of the subframe. Focusing on the relay station, since the downlink control signal must be transmitted to the mobile station, the relay station receives the signal transmitted from the base station by switching to reception processing after transmitting the control signal to the mobile station. Prepare for. However, since the base station also transmits the downlink control signal for the relay station at the timing when the relay station transmits the downlink control signal to the mobile station, the relay station transmits the downlink control signal transmitted from the base station. The signal cannot be received.
- LTE-A is considering providing an area (R-PDCCH (Relay PDCCH) area) in which a downlink control signal for a relay station is arranged in the data area.
- R-PDCCH Relay PDCCH
- DLPgrant and UL grant are arranged similarly to PDCCH.
- FIG. 1 it has been studied to arrange DL grant in 1st slot and arrange UL ⁇ grant in 2nd slot (see Non-Patent Document 1). By placing DL grant only in 1st slot, DL grant decoding delay is shortened, and the relay station transmits ACK / NACK for DL data (in FDD, it is sent 4 subframes after receiving DL grant).
- the relay station blind-decodes the downlink control signal transmitted from the base station using the R-PDCCH within the resource region (ie, “search space”) indicated by the higher layer signaling from the base station. By doing so, a downlink control signal addressed to the own station is found.
- the band for the LTE-A system is divided into “Component Carrier (hereinafter may be abbreviated as CC)” of 20 MHz or less, which is the support bandwidth of the LTE system. That is, “Component Carrier” is a band having a maximum width of 20 MHz, and is defined as a basic unit of a communication band.
- “Component Carrier” (hereinafter referred to as “Downlink Component Carrier”) in the downlink is a band delimited by downlink frequency band information in the BCH broadcast from the base station, or a downlink control channel (PDCCH). ) May be defined as a band determined by a dispersion width in the case of being dispersedly arranged in the frequency domain.
- “Component Carrier” (hereinafter referred to as “Uplink Component Carrier”) in the uplink is a band delimited by uplink frequency band information in the broadcast channel (BCH) broadcast from the base station, or the center. It may be defined as a basic unit of a communication band of 20 MHz or less including a PUSCH (Physical-Uplink-Shared-CHannel) region in the vicinity and including PUCCH for LTE at both ends.
- PUSCH Physical-Uplink-Shared-CHannel
- the LTE-A system supports communication using a band of several Component Carriers, so-called Carrier Aggregation.
- Carrier Aggregation since the throughput requirement for the uplink and the throughput requirement for the downlink are different, in the LTE-A system, for any LTE-A system compatible terminal (hereinafter referred to as "LTE-A terminal") Carrier aggregation, in which the number of unit bands to be set differs between the uplink and the downlink, so-called Asymmetric carrier aggregation is also being studied. Furthermore, the LTE-A system is also supported when the number of unit bands is asymmetric between the uplink and the downlink, and the frequency bandwidth of each unit band is different.
- control signals for terminals under the control of the base station in the data area to which the R-PDCCH is mapped that is, the “R-PDCCH area”. ing.
- the control signal in the data area in this way, transmission power control for a control signal transmitted to a terminal existing near the cell edge, or interference control or other control given to another cell by the transmitted control signal Interference control given from the cell to the own cell can be realized.
- a terminal can receive a control signal in both PDCCH and R-PDCCH. That is, the terminal basically needs to blind-decode both the search space corresponding to PDCCH and the search space corresponding to R-PDCCH.
- the control signal transmitted from the base station to the terminal in any subframe is transmitted by either PDCCH or R-PDCCH. Therefore, the terminal attempts blind decoding for both the search space corresponding to PDCCH and the search space corresponding to R-PDCCH, but the control signal is actually the search space corresponding to PDCCH and the search corresponding to R-PDCCH. It is assumed that only one of the spaces is detected.
- a base station mainly transmits a control signal using R-PDCCH, and in a special case (for example, R- If acquisition of the search space of the PDCCH fails, a method of transmitting a control signal using the PDCCH only in a case where a control signal is transmitted in a subframe having a large PDCCH free area, etc. can be considered.
- a transmission mode for DL (Transmission mode: TM) and a transmission mode for UL are being studied (for example, see Non-Patent Document 2).
- the DCI format detected in the PDCCH region and the transmission scheme are determined according to the transmission mode.
- the transmission method supported by the transmission mode includes, for example, the presence / absence of diversity, RS (Reference Signal) used for data, and the like.
- the size of the DCI format varies depending on the number of TBs (Transport blocks) that can be transmitted in the transmission mode supported by the DCI format. Specifically, the size of the DCI format that supports a transmission mode capable of transmitting a plurality of transport blocks (TB) is larger than the size of the DCI format that supports one TB.
- the DCI format that supports the transmission mode capable of transmitting a plurality of TBs is DCI format 2, 2A, 2B, and 2C.
- FIG. 3 shows an example of a correspondence table of DL transmission modes, DCI formats, and transmission methods studied in LTE-A. It is currently under consideration that TM9 in the correspondence table is supported by DCI format 1.
- FIG. 4 shows an example of a correspondence table of UL transmission modes, DCI formats, and transmission methods studied in LTE-A.

- the present inventors As a method for setting a transmission mode for a PDCCH region and an R-PDCCH region, which are candidates for resource regions used for transmitting a control signal to one terminal, the present inventors first set a PDCCH region. We focused on the method of setting the same transmission mode for the R-PDCCH region. However, it has been found that this setting method cannot simultaneously satisfy the requirements of the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region due to the difference in characteristics between the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region.
- the PDCCH region has the following characteristics.
- A It is assumed that the PDCCH area is shared by a plurality of terminals.
- B In order to suppress interference with other cells, there is a demand to use a small DCI format.
- C Used only for error cases.
- the R-PDCCH region has the following characteristics.
- D The R-PDCCH region can be handled not shared by multiple terminals.
- E In the R-PDCCH region, interference control on the frequency axis is possible, so even if the DCI format size is increased, there is no problem. Therefore, improving the throughput by increasing the transmission efficiency of DL data (that is, data transmitted by PDSCH) is more important than suppressing the increase in the size of the DCI format.

- the base station 400 described later performs processing such as transmission mode setting, transmission method determination, and control signal resource determination for each of the two CCs used. Therefore, the control signal detection unit 301 performs processing in units of CC. Note that other functional units in the terminal 300 basically perform processing in units of CC.

- This correspondence table is the same as that used in the transmission method specifying unit 207.
- response method specifying section 302 determines the number of codewords (number of CWs) corresponding to each combination of CC and PDCCH and CC and R-PDCCH based on transmission mode information and a correspondence table. To identify. That is, a transmission method corresponding to each combination of CC (1, 2) and PDCCH and CC (1, 2) and R-PDCCH is specified based on the transmission mode information and the correspondence table. The number of codewords corresponding to the method is specified.
- the response method specifying unit 302 specifies the “number of used table bits” based on the maximum value of the number of code words in CC1 and the maximum value of the number of code words in CC2. Specifically, the number of used table bits is calculated by multiplying the maximum value of the number of code words in CC1 by the maximum value of the number of code words in CC2.
- FIG. 11 shows a table summarizing the number of used table bits for all combinations of combinations of CC, PDCCH and codewords and CC, R-PDCCH and codewords.

- FIG. 13 shows an example of a bit mapping table when the number of table bits is 4.
- a response signal corresponding to downlink data transmitted in a plurality of CCs related to Carrier Aggregation is transmitted in one CC among the plurality of CCs. That is, there is one “response transmission utilization CC”.
- This response transmission use CC is also referred to as a primary cell (primary serving cell).
- a cell other than the CC used for response transmission is also called a secondary cell (secondary serving cell).
- the first scheduling for transmitting the control signal of the data resource allocation target CC by the data resource allocation target CC and the control signal of the data resource allocation target CC are allocated to the data resource allocation.
- second scheduling also called cross-carrier scheduling
- the first method is a method of transmitting the data allocation control signal of the primary cell by PDCCH in the primary cell.

- this association is referred to as “implicit association”. Therefore, when the first method is adopted, if the partial area where the control signal is actually mapped in the PDCCH area in the data resource allocation target CC is specified, the partial area where the response signal should be mapped in the PUCCH area. Identified.
- the instruction regarding the response signal resource which is performed by the partial region that actually maps the control signal from the base station 400 to the terminal 300, is a response resource implicit instruction (implicit (indicator). Allocation according to an implicit response indicator (implicit indicator) is referred to as implicit allocation.
- the second method is a method of transmitting the data allocation control signal of the secondary cell by PDCCH in the primary cell. Even when the second method is adopted, if the partial area where the control signal is actually mapped is specified in the PDCCH area in the data resource allocation target CC, the partial area where the response signal should be mapped in the PUCCH area is specified. Is done.
- the third method is a method of transmitting the data allocation control signal of the secondary cell by PDCCH in the secondary cell.
- the implicit association as described above is not made to the PDCCH in the secondary cell. Therefore, when the third method is employed, the base station 400 needs to explicitly indicate the PUCCH resource to the terminal 300.
- This response resource explicit instruction is performed by higher layer signaling. Allocation by explicit response resource indication is called explicit allocation.
- the response resource explicit instruction is called ARI (A / N Resource Indicator).
- ARI A / N Resource Indicator
- four response resource candidates are prepared for the PDCCH in the secondary cell, and one of the four response resource candidates is indicated by ARI (A / N / Resource Indicator).
- the explicit allocation is performed regardless of whether the R-PDCCH is in the CC for response transmission or CC other than the CC for response transmission. Is done.

- 16 shows all combinations of the number of codewords for PDCCH and the number of codewords for R-PDCCH in the secondary cell when cross-carrier scheduling is not performed, an explicit resource indicator (explicit indicator) corresponding to each combination, and It is a figure which shows a response
- the characteristic point is the number of response resource explicit indicators (explicit indicators) associated with combinations in which the number of codewords for PDCCH is 2 and the number of codewords for R-PDCCH is 1. .
- the number of response resource explicit indications (explicit indicators) should be 1 originally.
- the number of used table bits is determined based on the maximum value of the number of codewords in each CC. Therefore, the number of codewords equal to the maximum value of the number of codewords in each CC. Resources need to be secured (whether newly provided or other resources are used).
- the number of response resource explicit instructions is 2 in accordance with the maximum value of the number of codewords in each CC (that is, 2 which is the number of codewords for PDCCH).
- the number of response resource implicit indicators associated with a combination in which the number of codewords for PDCCH is 1 and the number of codewords for R-PDCCH is 2 is the number of codewords for PDCCH. It is consistent with a certain one. For example, in the case of this combination and when a control signal is transmitted from the base station 400 to the terminal 300 in the PDCCH of the primary cell, two responses notified for the R-PDCCH of the primary cell as response resource candidates A resource corresponding to one of the explicit resource indicators (explicit indicator) is specified. In this way, response resource candidates for two codewords can be secured even when PUCCH resources corresponding to R-PDCCH are insufficient.
- response resource candidates are identified as follows. In the following, a case where the number of code words for PDCCH is different from the number of code words for R-PDCCH will be described.
- FIG. 17 shows a diagram in which FIG. 14 and FIG. 15 are combined into one

Based on the specified transmission method, the number of used table bits specified by the response method specifying unit 302 and the response resource candidate group, a response signal (that is, an ACK / NACK signal) and response resource indication information are generated, The data is output to the allocation unit 304.
- the response control unit 303 receives the control signal detection result for each CC (that is, DTX) received from the control signal detection unit 301, the error detection result for each CC received from the error correction decoding unit 205, and the transmission method specification. Based on the transmission method specified by the unit 207, the detection result pattern is specified. That is, this detection result pattern corresponds to A / N state in FIGS. Here, the total number of codewords transmitted in the entire primary cell and secondary cell (that is, the total number of codewords corresponding to the transmission method specified by the transmission method specifying unit 207) and the number of used bit tables are: It may not match. In this case, the response control unit 303 specifies the detection result pattern by setting the error detection result of the downlink data that is not actually transmitted as NACK.
- the bit mapping table in FIG. 12 corresponds to the case where the number of code words supported by the primary cell is 1 and the number of code words supported by the secondary cell is 2.
- the detection result pattern candidate for example, [A, A, A]
- the first component is the first of the secondary cell.
- the second component corresponds to the detection result of the second code word of the secondary cell
- the third component corresponds to the detection result of one code word of the primary cell .
- the first component is the first code of the primary cell. This corresponds to the word detection result.
- the second component corresponds to the detection result of the second code word of the primary cell.
- the third component corresponds to the detection result of the first code word of the secondary cell.
- the fourth component corresponds to the detection result of the second code word of the secondary cell.
- the first codeword is a codeword used when the number of codewords supported by the cell is 1, and the second codeword is 2 codewords supported by the cell. This is the first codeword used in the case of In the bit mapping table, A indicates ACK, N indicates NACK, and D indicates DTX.
- the response control unit 303 determines a response signal (that is, an ACK / NACK signal) based on the specified detection result pattern and the bit mapping table corresponding to the number of used table bits specified by the response method specifying unit 302. And response resource instruction information. For example, when the specified detection result pattern is [A, A, A, A], a response signal having a phase corresponding to ⁇ 1 is generated according to the bit mapping table of FIG. Further, information indicating a response resource (that is, ACK / NACK resource) having an identification number of 2 is generated. This information is response resource instruction information.
- the signal allocation unit 304 maps the response signal generated by the response control unit 303 to the resource indicated by the response resource instruction information.
- FIG. 19 is a block diagram showing a configuration of base station 400 according to Embodiment 4 of the present invention.
- base station 400 includes transmission mode setting section 401, explicit instruction control section 402, response method specifying section 403, signal processing section 404, and retransmission control section 405.
- the transmission mode setting unit 401 basically has the same function as the transmission mode setting unit 101. However, the transmission mode setting unit 401 sets the transmission mode in units of CC. Note that other functional units in the base station 400 also basically perform processing on a CC basis.
- the explicit instruction control unit 402 based on the scheduling type (that is, scheduling not cross carrier scheduling or non-cross carrier scheduling) and the combination of the number of code words for PDCCH and the number of code words for R-PDCCH in any CC A response resource explicit instruction in an arbitrary CC is generated and transmitted to the terminal 300 via the wireless transmission unit 108.
- the explicit instruction control unit 402 Two response resource explicit instructions corresponding to the R-PDCCH of an arbitrary CC are transmitted to the terminal 300. Of these two response resource explicit instructions, one is normally transmitted (that is, ARI), and the other is the number of used table bits larger than the number of table bits specified from the transmission method actually used. Since the bit mapping table corresponding to is used in the base station 400 and the terminal 300, it is additionally transmitted.
- the response method specifying unit 403 has the same function as the response method specifying unit 302. That is, the response method specifying unit 403 selects response resource candidates based on the response resource explicit instruction (explicit indicator) received from the explicit instruction control unit 402 and the response resource implicit instruction (implicit indicator) received from the control signal allocation unit 107. Identify.
- the signal processing unit 404 has the same function as the signal processing unit 111. Then, the signal processing unit 404 further extracts a signal component corresponding to each of the response resource candidates specified by the response method specifying unit 403 from the received signal and outputs the signal component to the retransmission control unit 405.
- the retransmission control unit 405 Based on the signal component received from the signal processing unit 404, the retransmission control unit 405 detects the response resource to which the response signal is actually mapped and the phase of the response signal, and the detected response resource and the phase of the response signal, Based on the bit mapping table corresponding to the number of used table bits specified by the response method specifying unit 403, the detection result pattern in the terminal 300 is specified. Then, retransmission control section 405 performs retransmission control of the code word corresponding to the constituent element that is NACK or DTX in the specified detection result pattern.
- a / N mapping (PUCCH (Physical Uplink Control CHannel) format 1a: BPSK) in 1CW processing and A / N mapping (PUCCH format 1b: QPSK) in 2CW processing Is adopted.
- the number of TBs matches the number of CWs in LTE-Advanced.
- carrier aggregation is being studied in LTE-A. When carrier aggregation is employed, the number of bits required for the response signal increases. Therefore, format 1b using Channel selection that can be expanded to 4 bits and format 3 that can support 5 bits or more are being studied.
- the bit mapping table used by the combination of TM set in each CC is as follows. (1) When a TM that supports 1 CW is set for CC1 and a TM that supports 1 CW is set for CC2, a bit mapping table having two table bits is used.
- bit mapping table having 3 table bits as shown in FIG. 12 is used.
- bit mapping table having 4 table bits as shown in FIG. 13 is used.
- a TM that supports 1 CW is set in the PDCCH of CC1
- a TM that supports 2 CW is set in the R-PDCCH of CC1
- a TM that supports 2 CW is set in CC2
- the terminal is in the PDCCH of CC1.
- a bit mapping table having a table bit number of 3 is used, while when receiving a control signal in the R-PDCCH of CC1, a bit mapping table having a table bit number of 4 is used.
- the terminal cannot detect the control signal correctly, inconsistency occurs in the bit mapping table used between the base station and the terminal.
- the bit mapping table is different, the detection result pattern that is meant by the pair of the resource where the response signal is arranged and the phase of the response signal is different. Therefore, when a mismatch occurs in the bit mapping table used between the base station and the terminal, a mismatch occurs in recognition regarding the detection result pattern between the base station and the terminal. As a result, the system throughput is reduced.
- the bit mapping table used between the base station and the terminal is determined by determining the number of used table bits based on the maximum number of codewords in each CC. Inconsistency does not occur, and a decrease in system throughput can be prevented.
- the number of used table bits may be determined based on the maximum value of the number of codewords in each CC even when format 3 is used and when a response signal is transmitted multiplexed to PUSCH.
- response method specifying section 302 is set for each of the first resource region and the second resource region in the first CC and the second CC.
- the maximum number of TBs in each of the first CC and the second CC is specified based on the determined transmission mode and the corresponding rule, and the number of TBs specified for each of the first CC and the second CC
- the used bitmap is specified based on the maximum value of.
- the response method identifying unit 302 has the number of TBs corresponding to the first resource area as 2 for the target CC in the first CC and the second CC, and corresponds to the second resource area.
- the base station 400 uses the first resource region of the target CC. The resource notified from is identified as a response resource candidate.
- the explicit instruction control unit 402 has the number of TBs corresponding to the first resource region as 1 for the target CC of the first CC and the second CC, and the second CC When the transmission mode in which the number of TBs corresponding to the resource area is 2 is set, two response resources corresponding to the first resource area of the target CC are explicitly notified.
- the fourth embodiment when carrier aggregation using two CCs is adopted, it is associated with a combination in which the number of codewords for PDCCH is 2 and the number of codewords for R-PDCCH is 1.
- the number of response resource explicit indicators is two. This is because the number of table bits used is determined based on the maximum number of codewords in each CC, so a number of resources equal to the maximum number of codewords in each CC is secured (either newly provided or other This is because it is necessary to use the resources. That is, as described above, base station 400 needs to transmit a response resource explicit instruction that is additionally transmitted in addition to a response resource explicit instruction that is normally transmitted. For this reason, the base station 400 needs to reserve a response resource corresponding to the response resource explicit instruction additionally transmitted to the terminal 300.
- the base station 400 can allocate the response resource to other terminals, thereby realizing efficient use of the control channel.
- a bit mapping table having a special configuration has the following characteristics. That is, the detection result pattern candidate whose component corresponding to the second codeword in an arbitrary CC is DTX is not included in one response resource.
- the component of the detection result pattern corresponding to this second code word is treated as DTX. Therefore, in this case, a response resource that does not include a detection result pattern candidate whose component corresponding to the second codeword is DTX is never used. For this reason, it is not necessary to secure additional response resources.
- the number of response resource implicit indications is 2 in FIGS.
- a resource corresponding to one of the two response resource implicit instructions (implicit indicator) and a resource corresponding to the response resource explicit instruction (explicit indicator) may be used.
- Component Carrier in each of the above embodiments may be defined by a physical cell number and a carrier frequency number, and may be called a cell.
- the R-PDCCH in each of the above embodiments is sometimes called “enhanced” PDCCH.
- the present invention is not limited to this, and the CW number and the TB number may be different.
- the TB number may be used instead of the CW number.
- the upper limit of the number of CWs per 1 CC has been described as 2, but the present invention is not limited to this and may be 3 or more.
- An antenna port refers to a logical antenna composed of one or more physical antennas. That is, the antenna port does not necessarily indicate one physical antenna, but may indicate an array antenna composed of a plurality of antennas.
- 3GPP LTE it is not specified how many physical antennas an antenna port is composed of, but it is specified as a minimum unit in which a base station can transmit different reference signals (Reference signal).
- the antenna port may be defined as a minimum unit for multiplying the weight of a precoding vector (Precoding vector).
- Each functional block used in the description of each of the above embodiments is typically realized as an LSI which is an integrated circuit. These may be individually made into one chip, or may be made into one chip so as to include a part or all of them. Although referred to as LSI here, it may be referred to as IC, system LSI, super LSI, or ultra LSI depending on the degree of integration.
- the method of circuit integration is not limited to LSI, and implementation with a dedicated circuit or a general-purpose processor is also possible.
- An FPGA Field Programmable Gate Array
- a reconfigurable processor that can reconfigure the connection and setting of circuit cells inside the LSI may be used.
- the transmission apparatus, reception apparatus, transmission method, and reception method of the present invention can be used for either a control channel or a data channel as a candidate for a resource region used for transmitting a control signal to one terminal. Even when both the first resource region and the second resource region that can be used for the control channel are included, the transmission mode can be set flexibly.
