Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and method for simulating and ordering a wig. The system comprises: a database module in which information including that of wig styles, which are 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional captured and synthesized images, are stored; a face image capturing module which simultaneously captures images of the front, left, and right sides of a face of a customer; a simulation module which displays, on a main screen, an image obtained by synthesizing an image of at least one of the styles of wigs selected by the customer and the images of the face of the customer captured by the face image capturing module; a stock module in which information on stocks of the wigs corresponding to the styles stored in the database module are stored; and an order module for detecting whether the wig selected by the customer is in stock via the stock module and for determining whether to order the wig. Accordingly, the customer can order a suitable wig without actually wearing a wig in a shop by virtue of the simulation. Therefore, wigs can be prevented from being damaged and can be maintained in a sanitary manner. Further, the total wig inventory may be determined with one glance which can help minimize wig inventory.
