Abstract
Disclosed are a switching method and node equipment in coordinated multi-point transmission/reception, which relate to the field of communications and are used for solving the problem of short interruption occurred in the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception after switching from a source node supporting a user equipment to a target node during the communication process is completed. The method provided in an embodiment of the present invention comprises: before switching from a source node to a target node is completed, the source node sending to the target node relevant information of coordinated multi-point transmission/reception, the relevant information of the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception comprising a coordinated set of the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception, a mode of the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception, and a request of performing the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception; the source node receiving a response of the target node to the request of performing the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception; and the source node, according to the response of the target node to the request of performing the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception, performing the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception with the target node after the switching is completed. The embodiments of the present invention are applicable to switching from the source node to the target node during the coordinated multi-point transmission/reception.
