Abstract

The present invention aims to provide a method for determining the positioning of private APs for utilizing a plurality of existing private APs. The method for positioning APs inside buildings of the present invention operates through an AP information receiver; a position determining server including an AP position calculation module for calculating AP position information using the AP information received by the AP information receiver; and a DB server for storing the AP information with the position determined, and comprises: a first step for providing the plan of a building to be positioned, and for determining the latitude and the longitude of a base point of the building to be positioned; a second step for determining the latitude and the longitude value of a plurality of positioning points inside the building; a third step for receiving AP information that can be received from the plurality of positioning points; a fourth step for determining from the received AP information the position of the AP having the AP information collected; and a fifth step for storing on the DB the AP information with the position determined.
