The present invention relates to a content-transmission system, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for transmitting content in a content-transmission system. The present invention relates to an apparatus and method in which a service provider constructs a service using a plurality of pieces of content, and transmits the service via one or more paths over a heterogeneous network, such that the service may be consumed in a converged environment.
