Abstract

본 발명은 무선통신 시스템, 특히 이종 통신 시스템에서의 위치 참조 신호((Positioning Reference Signal; PRS) 뮤팅 방법과 장치 및 그를 이용한 단말의 위치 측정 방법에 관한 것이다. 1 이상의 매크로 셀과 각각의 매크로 셀 내부에 위치하는 1 이상의 비 매크로셀을 포함하는 이종 통신 시스템에서, 상기 비 매크로 셀은 별도로 위치 참조 신호를 전송하지 않으며, 상기 매크로 셀 중 하나 이상의 특정 매크로 셀이 위치 참조 신호를 전송하는 시간-주파수 자원 영역에서는 데이터를 전송하지 않고 뮤팅을 수행한다. 본 발명을 이용하면, 이종 통신 환경에서 서로 다른 형태의 기지국 간에 간섭의 영향을 최대한 줄이며 단말 위치측정의 정확성 향상을 도모할 수 있다.
