Abstract

Provided is a bottle cap which can cut a seal attached to an opening defined in the neck of a bottle. A recess part having a width corresponding to the thickness of the neck of the bottle is defined in the lower end of the circumference of the bottle cap. A cutting part, for cutting the seal attached to the neck of the bottle when the recess part is engaged with the end of the neck of the bottle, protrudes from the bottom surface within the recess part. Thus, a user may easily remove the seal without using a separate tool. Also, after the seal is removed, the sealing of the bottle may be ensured.
