Abstract
본 발명의 광학필름은 면상에서의 x방향과 y방향의 굴절율 (n1x, n1y)과 두께 방향의 굴절율 (n1z)이 n1z>n1x>n1y인 제 1보상층과 면상에서의 x방향과 y방향의 굴절율 (n2x, n2y)과 두께 방향의 굴절율 (n2z)이 n2x>n2y>n2z인 제 2보상층을 포함함에 그 특징이 있다. 본 발명의 광학필름 및 이를 포함하는 액정 디스플레이는 액정 디스플레이의 측면 시야각을 크게 개선할 수 있으며, 수직배향 모드용 광학필름을 수평배향 모드용 광학필름으로 전용함으로써 대량생산이 가능하고 생산단가를 낮출 수 있다.
