Description
The present invention relates to a built-in oven comprising speaker.
Speakers, which are used for ovens to generate sound signal, are used in the state of the art embodiments. The speaker is placed behind the front board and holes are opened on the board for delivering the sound coming from the speaker to the environment. The said holes deteriorate aesthetic appearance, and moreover the high temperatures behind the panel damage the speaker in due course.
In the state of the art Japanese Patent Document No. JP2010186720, an oven is described, which has a speaker disposed in an additional body placed below the ventilating hole disposed on the upper plate.
In the state of the art European Patent Document No EP1450105, an oven is described, which has a speaker placed on the side wall.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a built-in oven wherein effective sound output is provided.
The built-in oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises at least one casing, placed at the vicinity of the ventilating holes so as to remain between the ventilating holes and the rear wall, below the top wall, in the volume surrounded by the board, the top wall, the ceiling and the rear wall, and at least one speaker placed in the casing.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the casing comprises two semi-circular plates standing parallel to each other and at least one curvilinear support wall which joins the curvilinear edge of the plates. The intensity of the sound generated in the speaker is prevented from increasing by echoing in the casing and the sound coming out of the magnetic field behind the speaker is prevented from vanishing by dispersing in the environment.
The casing furthermore comprises a first compartment wherein the speaker is placed and at least one second compartment disposed near the first compartment.
The casing furthermore comprises at least two stoppers disposed oppositely on the plates, between the first compartment and the second compartment and against which the speaker bears. The speaker, which bears against the stopper from one edge, is provided to stand rigidly in the casing.
The casing furthermore comprises at least one panel having a first opening disposed in front of the speaker and which provides the sound signals emitted from the speaker to be delivered to the environment and a second opening which provides the sound signals, which are emitted from the speaker into the casing, to be delivered to the environment. The panel serves as a frame in front of the casing. By means of the openings, sound dispersion is controlled and the sound loss is minimized by the passing of the sound, which comes from the behind of the speaker, through the casing.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the panel comprises at least one skirt extending outwards from the panel and which entirely covers the panel and the edges of the support wall when the panel is placed on the casing.
In a derivative of this embodiment, the ratio of the diameter of the elliptical first opening to the edge of the square shaped second opening is equal to the golden ratio. The intensity of the sound, which passes through the casing which is shaped according to the golden ratio, increases.
In a derivative of the said embodiment, the casing comprises at least two lugs which provide it to be hung on the top wall. The casing is mounted to the top wall by means of the lug that extends from the edges thereof.

The built-in oven (1) of the present invention comprises a body (2) having two side walls (4), a rear wall (5) and a top wall (6), an oven cavity (3) disposed in the body (2), a base unit (8) that surrounds the oven cavity (3) and that has a ceiling (7), a board (9), at least one ventilating hole (10) disposed on the top wall (6) and at least one casing (16), placed at the vicinity of the ventilating holes (10) so as to remain between the ventilating holes (10) and the rear wall (5), below the top wall (6), in the volume (H) surrounded by the board (9), the top wall (6), the side walls (4), the ceiling (7) and the rear wall (5) and at least one speaker (11) placed in the casing (16) (Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, Figure 4, Figure 6).
Only the front surface of the built-in oven (1), the side walls (4), the rear wall (5) and the top wall (6) of which are embedded in the furniture, whereon the board (9) thereof is disposed can be seen from the outside. The cold air in the outer environment passes through the ventilating hole (10) to the volume (H) and flows into the body (2). The said region of the built-in oven (1) is relatively at a low temperature. By the placement of the casing (16) at the vicinity of the ventilating holes (10) so as to remain between the ventilating holes (10) and the rear wall (5), the said ventilating holes (10) also provide the sound signals, which are emitted from the speaker (11) to the volume (H), to be emitted to the outer environment. Moreover, a line, through which the sound proceeds, is not required to be opened on the board (9) for delivering the sound to the outside and the aesthetic appearance of the built-in oven (1) is not deteriorated.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the casing (16) comprises two semi-circular plates (14) standing parallel to each other and at least one curvilinear support wall (15) which joins the curvilinear edge of the plates (14). The sound emitted from the behind of the speaker (11) impacts the support wall (15) in the casing (16) and proceeds in the casing (16). Thus, the area to which the sound is emitted is decreased and quality and high-volume sound is received from the speaker (11) (Figure 5, Figure 6).
The casing (16) furthermore comprises a first compartment (17) wherein the speaker (11) is placed and at least one second compartment (18) disposed near the first compartment (17). The sound emitted due to the magnetic field formed behind the speaker (11) passes from the first compartment (17) to the second compartment (18) by following a curvilinear orbit, the sound force increases by echoing in the second compartment (18) and comes out of the casing (16) (Figure 7).
The casing (16) comprises at least two stoppers (19) disposed oppositely on the plates (14), between the first compartment (17) and the second compartment (18) and against which the speaker (11) bears from one edge. The stopper (19) provides the speaker (11) to remain fixed in the casing (16) and prevents it from sliding (Figure 7).
The casing (16) furthermore comprises at least one panel (20) having a first opening (12) disposed in front of the speaker (11) and which provides the sound signals emitted from the speaker (11) to be delivered to the environment and a second opening (13) which provides the sound signals, which are emitted from the speaker (11) into the casing (16), to be delivered to the environment. The portion of the panel (20) which surrounds the first opening (12) is formed as an outward protrusion for providing the screws to be embedded therein. The sound signals, which are emitted towards the rear portion of the speaker (11), are provided to exit to the outside by means of the second opening (13) by passing through the casing (16). Thus sound loss is decreased. Moreover, the speaker (11) is provided to be entirely fixed into the casing (16) and is prevented from being agitated as a result of any effect. Any force created on the casing (16) adversely effects the sound quality (Figure 7).
In an embodiment of the present invention, the panel (20) comprises at least one skirt (21) extending outwards from the panel (20) and which entirely covers the panel (20) and the edges of the support wall (15) when the panel (20) is placed on the casing (16). The panel (20) is fixed on the casing (16) by means of the skirt (21) (Figure 7).
In a derivative of this embodiment, the ratio of the diameter of the elliptical first opening (12) to the edge of the square shaped second opening (13) is equal to the golden ratio. Therefore, the volume of the first compartment (17) is greater than the volume of the second compartment (18). While the sound signals, which are emitted from the behind of the speaker (11), pass from the first compartment (17) to the second compartment (18), the quality and force of the sound increase. By means of the casing (16) with the “golden ratio”, the intensity of the sound increases.
In a variation of the said embodiment, the casing (16) comprises at least two lugs (22) which provide it to be hung on the top wall (6). The lug (22) provides the casing (16) to be mounted to the top wall (6) by being screwed. Any hole to be opened on the casing (16) for mounting to the top wall (6) damages the sound acoustic in the speaker (11). Thus the casing (16) is fixed to the top wall (6) by being screwed by means of the lug (22) extending from the edges thereof (Figure 5).
By means of the present invention, a built-in oven (1) is realized wherein ventilating holes (10) are used for delivering the sound coming from the speaker (11) to the environment. By placing the casing (16) below the top wall (6), the casing (16) is prevented from being exposed to water and humidity and is provided to be placed in an area wherein it is easily mounted/dismounted. The casing (16) placed below the top wall (6) is not seen by the customer and does not deteriorate the aesthetic appearance of the built-in oven (1).
It is to be understood that the present invention is not limited by the embodiments disclosed above and a person skilled in the art can easily introduce different embodiments. These should be considered within the scope of the protection postulated by the claims of the present invention.
