Abstract
The invention relates to a device for transmitting and/or receiving an ultrasonic signal, comprising an electromechanical foil connected to at least one front side electrode (5) and at least one rear side electrode (7.1, 7.2), wherein one electrode is implemented over the entire surface and the second electrode (7.1, 7.2) is applied in the form of a pattern, or both the front side electrode and the rear side electrode are applied in the form of a pattern. The invention further relates to a use of the device.
