Abstract
The invention relates to improvements to the anvil, percussion, cartridges, devices and dummy cartridges for simultaneous rim- and center-fire triple-action percussion. The invention comprises a.22 caliber, belted, cylindrical, rimmed rim-fire igniter cartridge, a short.22 caliber cylindrical, rimmed rim-fire igniter cartridge, and a 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm or 5.5mm bottleneck-type rimmed rim-fire igniter cartridge, having simultaneous rim- and center-fire triple-action percussion. These igniter cartridges replace the center-fire Berdan-Boxer anvil and cap, thereby overcoming the limitations of the prior art in terms of percussion, in relation to which 11,800 international patents have been registered online. In terms of center-fire percussion, the invention overcomes the limitations of the prior art in relation to back-loaded center-fire cartridges of any caliber with a back-loaded cartridge having simultaneous rim- and center-fire triple-action percussion. The invention comprises a novel back-loaded cartridge, a novel geometric form, of any caliber and having a double bottleneck shape, with simultaneous rim- and center-fire triple-action percussion. The invention comprises an improvement in terms of percussion to center-fire cartridges of any caliber that have been fired, machining the central firing cavity in the case in order to use same once again and positioning a rimmed rim-fire igniter cartridge having simultaneous rim- and center-fire triple-action percussion in said central firing cavity. The invention also includes an improvement to the limitation of the prior art disclosed in patent number 275247 /2005 by Vidal, improving the Rockwell anvil thereof, providing same with an antioxidant treatment, such as to extend the life of the rimmed rim-fire igniter cartridge and of the basic rimmed rim-fire cartridge with powder and a bullet having simultaneous rim- and center-fire percussion. The invention enhances the use of any center-fire cartridge of any caliber, the powder funnel chamber being provided with a caliber-reducing device bearing a 4.5mm caliber spherical projectile, fired with simultaneous rim- and center-fire triple-action percussion. The invention also improves dummy cartridges, with a novel geometric form, a double-bottleneck back-loading cartridge and a rimmed rim-fire bottleneck cartridge of 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm and 5.5mm caliber, and with the coupling of a cylindrical plastic lug.
