Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an adhesive article comprising a heat-bondable adhesive layer having a first surface, and a first discontinuous pressure sensitive adhesive layer disposed upon a first portion of the first surface of the heat- bondable adhesive layer; wherein the first discontinuous pressure sensitive adhesive layer comprises a web of pressure sensitive adhesive microfibers having an average diameter of from 10 pm to 200 μηι. The adhesive articles may be used for the production of footwear.
