Definitions
- the present invention relates to ski pants having an edge guard.
- ski pants having an edge guard that protects the skirt from the outside are known as conventional techniques (for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).
- the edge guard is made up of disposable parts and can be replaced when necessary.
- the edge guard is made of a hard synthetic resin, for example, a hard urethane resin.
- an edge guard configured to be half-folded by a member of an appropriate size is fitted to an inner hem of the outer pants of ski pants, and a plurality of protrusions protruding from the inner member of the edge guard are fitted into the receiving holes of the outer member. In this way, the fabric of the ski pants is pierced and attached, and is fixed by a detent structure having a protrusion.
- the edge guard is formed of a thin synthetic resin, preferably a semi-rigid synthetic resin.
- the edge guard of the present invention is not intended for general skiers (users).
- the conventional edge guard uses a hard material assuming that the skier misoperates and cuts the ski pants at the edge of the ski.
- the present invention deals with a phenomenon that occurs during skiing of a ski expert such as a professional skier, prevents the skirt of the ski pants from tearing due to the strong impact given by the edge of the ski, and the ski pants. Prevents tearing by not sticking.
- a hard material such as a hard synthetic resin or a semi-rigid synthetic resin is used as the edge guard material. For this reason, when skiing, a hard and fixed edge guard may interfere with operation for a skier whose delay of 0.1 seconds or less is fatal. Further, if the design is emphasized and the edge guard is provided on the back fabric side of the ski pants, the effect of preventing the phenomenon of breaking by the edge of the ski is lost.
- the present invention employs the following configuration in order to solve the above problems. That is, the present invention is ski pants provided with an edge guard on the inner crotch side at the hem between the lower end of the hem and the lower knee, and the edge guard is an elastic or viscoelastic shock absorber.
- a shock absorber mounting means for mounting the shock absorber is provided at the skirt.
- the shock absorber mounting means is a shock absorber housing portion that houses the shock absorber therein.
- the shock absorber housing portion enables the shock absorber to be taken out.

- the edge guard 3 is preferably provided in the vicinity of the hem lower end 4 where the edge guard 3 is likely to hit the ski pants 1.
- the edge guard 3 is provided on the back side (back fabric side) of the ski pants 1 in order to emphasize design and prevent the edge guard 3 from damaging the appearance of the ski pants 1.
- the fabric of the ski pants 1 that can be seen from the outside of the ski pants 1 is called a front fabric
- the fabric existing on the back side of the front fabric is called a back fabric.
- the edge guard 3 is an impact absorber that absorbs an impact when the edge of the ski hits the ski pants 1.
- the shock absorber is a material that disperses and absorbs an impact force by elastic deformation of the material or elastic deformation and viscous flow of the material. Therefore, the shock absorber is preferably an elastic body or a viscoelastic body.
- the shock absorber according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a shock absorber made of a material other than the shock absorber and the impact grade material in addition to the shock absorber made of only the shock absorber. Further, the shock absorber does not include a hard material such as a hard synthetic resin such as a hard urethane resin or a semi-hard synthetic resin.

- the pocket cloth 51 and the lid cloth 52 are sewn on the back cloth 22 of the ski pants 1.
- the lid cloth 52 partially overlaps the pocket cloth 51.
- the overlapping part is widened and the edge guard 3 is bent and the edge guard 3 is taken out from the pocket.
- the edge guard 3 can be stored in the pocket through the portion.
- the pocket is made in accordance with the size of the edge guard 3. That is, the size of the edge guard 3 is such that the edge guard 3 cannot move when the edge guard 3 is stored in the pocket.
- the material of the pocket cloth 51 and the cover cloth 52 is selected from the group consisting of mesh fabric, woven fabric, knitted fabric, leather, and combinations thereof, but is not limited thereto.
- the material of the pocket cloth 51 may be different from the material of the lid cloth 52 or the same. Further, the material of the pocket cloth 51 and the cover cloth 52 may be the same as or different from the material of the ski pants 1.
- drainage cuts 53 are formed at two corners on the bottom end 4 side of the pocket cloth 51. This portion of the pocket cloth 51 is not sewn, and even if snow enters the pocket constituted by the pocket cloth 51 and the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1, it is discharged as water from the drain 53.
- Ski pants cut suppression confirmation test Test Method (1) The tester put on ski boots on both feet and then put on ski boots on both feet. At this time, the ski boots were hidden by the part from the shin part to the hem part of the ski pants. Ski pants had a cross-sectional structure of front fabric, cotton, and back fabric. (2) A soft urethane foam shock absorber pad was attached to the back side of the right leg of the ski pants where the ski pants and ski boots overlapped. That is, the right leg of the ski pants has a structure in which the shock absorber pad is sandwiched between the ski pants fabric and the ski boots. The shock absorber pad was not attached to the left leg of the ski pants.
- Test result (1) Right leg of ski pants (with shock absorber pad) Scratches due to abrasion with the ski edge were observed. Two cuts (holes) due to the impact of about 3 mm were observed on the surface fabric. (2) Left leg of ski pants (no shock absorber pad) Scratches due to abrasion with the ski edge were observed. Twelve cuts (holes) due to the impact of about 20 mm were observed. Nine cuts of about 3 mm were observed. Among the cuts having a size of about 20 mm, six deep cuts reaching the cotton part were observed. (3) Consideration By comparing the test results (1) and (2), the edge of the ski hits the ski pants 1 and the ski pants 1 are cut by attaching the edge guard 3 to the back side of the ski pants 1. The effect which suppresses was confirmed. In the above experiment, while skiing, the edge of the ski hits the ski pants with a force that is considerably stronger than expected when hitting the ski pants. I can't cut it.
- the edge guard 3 is an elastic or viscoelastic shock absorber. Therefore, since the edge guard 3 is soft, the operation when the user is skiing is not hindered by the edge guard 3. In particular, when skiing, the effect is significant for advanced skiers who experience a delay of 0.1 seconds or less.
- the edge guard 3 is stored in a pocket constituted by the pocket cloth 51 and the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1. Thereby, the edge guard 3 can be easily attached to the back side of the skirt part 2 of the ski pants 1. Further, the surface of the edge guard 3 is not fixed to the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1 but is only in contact therewith. As a result, the surface of the edge guard 3 can be deformed without being constrained by the back fabric 22, and the reduction of the edge guard's impact absorbing power due to the attachment of the edge guard 3 to the ski pants 1 can be reduced. . Further, when the edge of the ski is on the ski pants, the outer fabric 21 and the edge guard 3 are slightly shifted from each other, so that the tearing of the ski pants due to the impact of the edge guard can be further suppressed.
- the edge guard 3 can be taken out from a pocket constituted by the pocket cloth 51 and the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1. As a result, the edge card 3 can be replaced according to the skiing skill and preference of the user.
- a cover cloth 52 for preventing the edge guard 3 from falling off is provided in a pocket constituted by the pocket cloth 51 and the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the edge guard 3 from falling off while the user is skiing.
- a pocket formed by the pocket cloth 51 and the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1 is provided with a water cut 53 for discharging water contained in the pocket.
- the edge guard 3 is provided on the back side of the skirt 2 of the ski pants 1. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the appearance of the ski pants 1 from being damaged by the edge guard 3 and to prevent the ski pants from being cut by the edge of the ski.
- the conventional hard edge guard if it is provided on the back side of the skirt 2, the ski pants are easily cut by the edge of the ski, just like paper can be easily cut on the hard cutter mat. Will end up.
- the ski pants 1 of the above embodiment can be modified as follows.
- the attachment means stores the edge guard 3 in a pocket constituted by the pocket cloth 51 and the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1. It is not limited to doing.
- an attaching means such as a hook-and-loop fastener is provided on the front fabric 21 (see FIG. 2 (B)) or the back fabric 22 and the edge guard 3 of the ski pants 1, and an edge is formed on the skirt 2 of the ski pants 1 by the adhering means.
- the guard 3 may be attached. Also by this, the edge guard 3 can be easily attached to the skirt 2 of the ski pants 1. Further, when the adhering means is an adhering means in which the edge guard 3 is detachable, the edge guard 3 can be replaced.
- the edge of the ski when the edge of the ski is in the ski pants, if the outer fabric 21 and the edge guard 3 are slightly shifted, the ski pants can be further prevented from being broken by the impact of the edge guard. If the front fabric 21 and the edge guard 3 are slightly shifted when they are in the ski pants, the mounting means can be attached to the edge formed in the pocket formed by the pocket cloth 51 and the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1. It is not limited to storing the guard 3.
- the storage of the edge guard 3 is not limited to the storage by the pocket.
- the edge guard 3 on the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1 may be covered with a predetermined fabric, and the fabric may be sewn without an opening and the edge guard 3 may be attached. That is, the edge guard may be housed and attached in a closed bag that cannot be removed.
- the present invention is not limited to means for preventing the falling off by the lid cloth 52 as long as it can be prevented from falling out of the pocket of the edge guard.
- a fastener may be provided at the opening of the pocket formed by the pocket fabric 51 and the back fabric 22 of the ski pants 1 to prevent the edge guard from falling out of the pocket.
- the draining means is not limited to the drainage cut 53 provided in the pocket as long as the water contained in the pocket for storing the edge guard 3 can be discharged.
- the pocket cloth 51, the cover cloth 52, etc. may be made of mesh cloth so that water can be discharged.
- the edge guard 3 is provided on the back side (back fabric 22 side) of the ski pants 1, it may be provided on the front side (front fabric 21 side) of the ski pants 1. Also in this case, the edge guard 3 can absorb the impact of the edge of the ski and prevent the ski pants 1 from being cut.
- the ski pants 1 is composed of a plurality of fabrics (for example, the front fabric 21 and the back fabric 22 in FIG. 2B), between the plurality of fabrics (for example, the front fabric 21 and the back fabric in FIG. 2B).
- the edge guard 3 may be provided between the fabrics 22). Also in this case, it is possible to prevent the appearance of the ski pants 1 from being damaged by the edge guard 3 and to prevent the ski pants 1 from being cut by the edges of the ski.
- an edge guard may be provided between the back side of the ski pants 1 and a plurality of fabrics.
- the edge guard 3 can prevent the appearance of the ski pants 1 from being impaired, and the ski pants 1 can be prevented from being cut by the edges of the skis.
- the shape of the edge guard 3 is a rectangular shape, it is not limited to one embodiment. For example, a circular shape, a semicircular shape, or a triangular shape may be used.
- the size of the edge guard 3 is not limited to one embodiment.
- the edge guard 3 of the ski pants according to the embodiment of the present invention can be enlarged because the degree to which the user's edge guard 3 is disturbed can be reduced.
- an edge guard is provided on the inner crotch half of the entire circumference of the bottom of the ski pants, an edge guard is provided on the lower half of the hem, and an edge guard is provided on the inner crotch half and the lower half of the hem. Can be provided.
- the edge guard can be enlarged, it is possible to more reliably prevent the edge of the ski from hitting the skirt of the ski pants and cutting the skirt.
- the ski pants 1 can be cut even if the edge of another person's ski hits the ski pants 1 by providing an edge guard over substantially the entire skirt, for example, the lower end of the hem. Can not be.
- the edge guard 3 can be enlarged in the ski pants 1 of the present invention, such a case becomes possible.
- the edge of the snowboard of another person may hit and the snowboard pants may be cut, so the ski pants of the present invention can also be applied to snowboard pants.
Abstract
