Abstract

The invention relates to a power capacitor (1) having an integrated control for low voltage that includes at least one power module (2) connected to a control module (3). It is characterized in that the power module (2) includes two modular units (6) facing each other inside a protective housing (7), each modular unit (6) including a printed circuit board (8) on which are electrically connected an assembly of capacitor elements (9) and an assembly of thyristors (10) that can individually switch each capacitor element (9). This results in a compact capacitor that is easy to set up and enables individual switching of capacitor elements.
