A container apparatus (20) and a method for using the container apparatus (20) are disclosed. The disclosed apparatus (20) can be implemented in a wide variety of ways, including but not limited to that of a food or beverage container (20). The container apparatus (20) can include a lid (28) and a body (22). Some configurations may include a plate (24), flaps (54), a reinforcement member (23), and/or other components.
