Abstract

A system, apparatus and method for detection of recording device in a theatre environment are provided. The seating area is illuminated with an infrared lighting source. Surface reflections generated by a lens of a recording device is received by an image capture device. An image from the image capture device is analyzed for identifying patterns associated with reflections from a lens. A seating position associated with the reflection is then identified.
