Abstract

이동 통신 시스템의 캐리어 집성 환경에서의 캐리어 관리 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 캐리어 상태 관리 방법은 기지국이 단말기에게 부 캐리어에 대한 비활성화 메시지를 전송하고, 비활성화 메시지의 전송으로부터 소정 시간 이후에 부 캐리어를 비활성화 상태로 변경하도록 구성된다. 단말기는 기지국이 전송한 비활성화 메시지를 수신하고, 비활성화 메시지의 전송으로부터 소정 시간 이후에 부 캐리어를 비활성화 상태로 변경한다. 이때, 기지국과 단말기가 관리하는 해당 부 캐리어의 상태 정보에 불일치가 발생되지 않도록 상기 소정시간은 미리 약속된 값이 이용될 수 있다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 캐리어 상태 관리 방법을 이용하면, 부 캐리어 비활성화시에 기지국과 단말기가 관리하는 부 캐리어 상태의 불일치가 발생되는 것을 막을 수 있어, 기지국과 단말기의 부 캐리어 상태 불일치에 의해서 발생될 수 있는 문제점들을 방지할 수 있다.
