Abstract

A solar collector having a housing body (2) for photovoltaic cells (3) aligned as a plurality of joints (7) in parallel rows (8) in a self- bearing meshed structure (6). Each joint comprises a substantially tubular body (5) opened at both ends, at one end to house one or more of said photovoltaic cells (3) and at the other end to allow the light beams to reach said photovoltaic cells (3). A plurality of longitudinal profiles (9) are arranged to connected at least two joints (7).
