Abstract

The invention relates to a ceramic hot melt paint composition, to a method for producing same, and to a method for producing a decorative coating on glass, enamel, or ceramic surfaces with the ceramic hot melt paint composition. The aim of the invention is to provide possibilities for producing decorative designs in which noble metal is contained, on glass, enamel, or ceramic surfaces, wherein the optical appearance of a pure polished metal is permanently retained and a high scratch resistance and a good adhesion of the decorative coating is maintained. At least one diffusion-inhibiting flow component in a proportion of maximally 50 mass% with respect to the contained noble metal is additionally contained together with noble metal flakes/particles and/or flakes that are coated with noble metal in the ceramic hot melt paint composition according to the invention. In the event that the diffusion-inhibiting flow component(s) is/are directly embedded in the noble metal, the diffusion-inhibiting flow component(s) can have a higher proportion than when said diffusion-inhibiting flow component(s) is/are contained in a matrix together with noble metal flakes/particles and/or flakes/particles that are coated with noble metal.
