Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte, selon un aspect, à un appareil permettant de transporter un outil tout en forant un puits de forage. L'appareil comprend une ligne couplée à l'outil, un ensemble de transport couplé à la ligne, l'ensemble de transport étant situé au niveau d'une surface et configuré pour libérer la ligne afin de transporter l'outil dans le train de tiges de forage, et un raccord double femelle comprenant un passage à travers lequel passe la ligne. L'appareil comprend également un dispositif de mesure configuré pour déterminer une position de l'outil à l'intérieur du train de tiges de forage par détermination de la longueur de la ligne qui est transportée avec l'outil dans le train de tiges de forage.
