【課題】 特に、入力デバイス及び表示装置の補正アルゴリズムを提供することを目的とする。 【解決手段】 一定の測定期間、各荷重センサの出力変化量の絶対値が所定の閾値α以下であるとき、各荷重センサのセンサ出力に対するゼロ点補正を実行する手段、各荷重センサのセンサ出力を用いて位置データを算出するとともに、各荷重センサの全荷重Zを算出する手段、前記全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|が閾値β以下であるとき、それら算出データを正常と判断する手段、全荷重の絶対値|Z|が閾値γ以上であるとき、その算出データを入力有と判断する手段、算出手段により連続して得られた各算出データのうち、最初と最後の所定数のデータを除去する手段、を有する。

Description

入力デバイス及び表示装置
 本発明は、パネル下に荷重センサを備えた入力デバイスに係り、特に位置検出の補正アルゴリズムに関する。
 パネル下の異なる位置に複数の荷重センサ(フォースセンサ)を配置し、パネル表面を押圧したときの荷重バランスにより入力位置を検出する入力デバイスは、パネルの振動や自重等によるノイズ、外乱の影響により、何の処理も施さないと位置検出ずれが頻繁に生じ、また非入力操作時でも不要な位置データが出力される問題があった。

 上記の各特許文献には、パネル下に荷重センサを配置した入力デバイスにおいて、位置検出の補正アルゴリズムについては何も記載されていない。
 そこで本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するためのものであり、特に、入力デバイス及び表示装置の補正アルゴリズムを提供することを目的とする。
 本発明は、パネルと、パネル下の異なる位置に配置された複数の荷重センサと、を有し、各荷重センサの荷重に応じて得られたセンサ出力に基づき、パネル表面を操作する操作体の入力位置を算出可能な入力デバイスにおいて、
 一定の測定期間、各荷重センサの出力変化量の絶対値が所定の閾値α以下であるとき、各荷重センサのセンサ出力に対するゼロ点補正を実行する第1の処理手段と、
 ゼロ点補正を実行した各荷重センサのセンサ出力を用いて位置データを算出するとともに、各荷重センサの全荷重Zを算出する算出手段と、
 前記算出手段によって得られた算出データのうち、前記全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|と所定の閾値βとを比較し、前記全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|が前記閾値β以下であるとき、それら算出データを正常と判断し、前記閾値βよりも大きい場合には異常と判断して高周波ノイズの異常データを除去する第2の処理手段と、
 前記算出手段によって得られた算出データのうち、前記全荷重の絶対値|Z|と所定の閾値γとを比較し、前記全荷重の絶対値|Z|が前記閾値γ以上であるとき、その算出データを前記操作体による入力有と判断し、前記閾値γよりも小さい場合には未入力と判断してこの低荷重のデータを除去する第3の処理手段と、
 前記算出手段により連続して得られた各算出データのうち、最初と最後の所定データ数を除去する第4の処理手段と、
 を有することを特徴とするものである。
 上記により、パネル下の異なる位置に夫々、荷重センサが配置され、荷重バランスにより位置検出を行う入力デバイスに対して、良好な補正アルゴリズムを確立でき、これにより位置検出ずれや非入力操作時における不要な位置データ(異常データ)の出力を抑制することが可能になる。
 本発明では、前記第1の処理手段では、各荷重センサから夫々、所定数の更新データを取得し、且つ全ての出力変化量の絶対値が閾値α以下であるときにゼロ点補正を実行することが好ましい。
 また本発明では、初期オフセット補正により、各荷重センサのセンサ出力に対するゼロ点補正を実行した後、前記第1の処理手段で、ゼロ点補正の更新を行うことが好ましい。これによりゼロ点補正を確実に行うことができ、位置検出精度をより効果的に向上させることができる。
 また本発明では、初期設定として、前記位置データを算出する際に必要な各荷重センサのX位置係数及びY位置係数を、複数の測定データを用いて、最小2乗法により求めることが好ましい。本発明の入力デバイスは、荷重バランスの変動により入力位置を検出するが、個々の荷重センサに特性差やパネルの歪等があるため、初期状態で前記荷重バランスが均衡を保っておらず、位置検出精度の悪化を招く。よって、初期設定として、各荷重センサのX位置係数及びY位置係数を、予め最小2乗法で求めておき、各位置係数を、算出部で位置データを算出する際に適用することで、位置検出精度を効果的に向上させることが可能になる。
 また本発明では、各算出データを移動平均する第5の処理手段を有し、前記第5の処理手段は、前記第4の処理手段より前のタイミングで実行されることが好ましい。これにより、電気的なホワイトノイズを除去でき、また、各算出データ全てを適切に移動平均することが出来る。
 また本発明では、前記荷重センサは、前記パネルの四隅に配置されていることが好ましい。
 また本発明における表示装置は、上記に記載の入力デバイスと、透明な前記パネルの下側に設置された表示ディスプレイとを有し、
 各処理手段を経て得られた前記位置データに基づいて、画面表示が更新されることを特徴とするものである。
 これにより、位置検出ずれに基づく画面表示の更新や、非入力操作時における画面表示の更新等を適切に防止でき、押圧入力位置に基づき、画面表示を安定して更新させることができる。
 本発明では、パネル下の異なる位置に夫々、荷重センサが配置され、荷重バランスにより位置検出を行う入力デバイスに対して、良好な補正アルゴリズムを確立でき、これにより位置検出ずれや非入力操作時における不要な位置データ(異常データ)の出力を抑制することが可能になる。

 図1は、本実施形態における入力デバイス(タッチパネル)及び表示装置を模式的に示した平面図である。図2は、図1に示すE-E線に沿って切断し矢印からみた部分縦断面図である。図3(a)は、本実施形態における荷重センサ(フォースセンサ)の部分拡大縦断面図である。図3(b)は、荷重センサを構成するセンサ基材の裏面図である。図4は、本実施形態における入力デバイスのブロック図である。
 本実施形態における入力デバイス(タッチパネル)1は、図1、図2に示すように、透明なガラス基材等からなるパネル2と、パネル2の下に配置された複数の荷重センサ(フォースセンサ)A~Dとを有して構成される。
 なお本実施形態において、入力デバイス1の下側に液晶表示ディスプレイ4が設置された構成は、「表示装置19」である。
 図2に示すように、荷重センサA~Dは透明な支持板3上に設置される。図示していないが、例えば支持板3の中央には、その下側に配置される液晶表示ディスプレイ4と対向する穴が形成されてもよい。
 ここで、「透明」や「透光性」とは可視光線透過率が60%以上(好ましくは80%以上)の状態を指す。更にヘイズ値が6以下であることが好適である。
 図1に示すように、4個の荷重センサA~Dは、パネル2の四隅に配置されている。
 例えば、パネル2には、その中央に表示領域5が設けられ、前記表示領域5の周囲に加飾領域6が設けられる。
 加飾領域6では、例えばパネル2の下面側に加飾層(図示せず)が設けられ、非透光性となっている。一方、表示領域5には、前記加飾層は設けられておらず透光性となっている。図1、図2に示すように、各荷重センサA~Dは、加飾領域6に配置される。また図2に示すように、表示領域5と高さ方向で対向する位置に液晶表示ディスプレイ4が配置される。
 なお、荷重センサA~Dを透明な材質で形成する等して、液晶表示ディスプレイ4と荷重センサA~Dとが高さ方向に重なっていても問題なければ、荷重センサA~Dの設置位置まで表示領域5を広げることもできる。
 荷重センサA~Dの構造について図3を用いて説明する。
 図3(a)に示すように荷重センサA~Dは、センサ基材11と、ベース基材10と受圧部13とを有する。
 センサ基材11は、その中央が荷重により高さ方向に変位する変位部12である。図3(a)に示すように、センサ基材11の表面(上面)11aに外部からの荷重を受ける受圧部13が形成されている。受圧部13とセンサ基材11とを別々に形成することもできるし、一体で形成することもできる。
 センサ基材11の裏面(下面)11bには、図3(a)(b)に示すように、歪検出素子として複数のピエゾ抵抗素子15、複数のセンサ側電気接続部16a、複数の回路配線部17及びセンサ側支持部18aが設けられている。
 ベース基材10の表面(上面)には、図3(a)に示すように、ベース側電気接続部16bや、ベース側支持部18b等が形成されている。
 図3(b)に示すピエゾ抵抗素子15は、変位部12の周縁部に沿う位置に設けられている。
 センサ基材11とベース基材10とは、センサ側電気接続部16aとベース側電気接続部16bとを介して電気的に接続されている。
 また、センサ側支持部18aとベース側支持部18bとが圧着されて、センサ基材11とベース基材10とが接合されている。
 各電気接続部16a,16b及び、各支持部18a,18bを同じ導電性材料や金属材料で形成することができる。
 また、ベース基材10及びセンサ基材11をシリコンで形成することができる。
 図2に示すように、各荷重センサA~Dは、その受圧部13をパネル2の下面2aに当接した状態で配置される。
 パネル2の表示領域5を操作者が指やペン等の操作体を用いて押圧により入力操作すると、各荷重センサA~Dが受圧部13により荷重を受け、変位部12が変位する。すると、その変位量に応じて、複数のピエゾ抵抗素子15の電気抵抗が変化する。4つのピエゾ抵抗素子15のうち2つのピエゾ抵抗素子15の電気抵抗値が大きくなれば、残り2つのピエゾ抵抗素子15の電気抵抗値は小さくなるように、各ピエゾ抵抗素子15が形成されている。そして、各ピエゾ抵抗素子15はブリッジ回路を構成しており、上記した各ピエゾ抵抗素子15の抵抗変化によりブリッジ回路の中点電位が変動することで、センサ出力(電圧値)を得ることが出来る。
 例えば操作者が図1に示す操作点Mを押圧すると、パネル2下の異なる位置に配置された各荷重センサA~Dに夫々、個別の荷重が加わる。そして、各荷重センサA~Dから得られたセンサ出力に基づいて、操作点(入力位置)Mを検出することが可能となっている。
 操作点M(入力位置)は、各荷重センサA~Dからのセンサ出力を取得して、様々な処理を行う制御部(IC)20内の算出部22(図4参照)により算出することができる。図4に示すように、制御部20には、算出部22のほかに、テーブル21、高周波ノイズ判断部24、データ平滑部25、低荷重判断部26及びデータ前後除去部27を有して構成される。なお図4に示す制御部20内の構成図は概念的なものであり、図5に説明する動作フローを実行できる構成であれば、制御部20内の構成を図4のように限定するものでない。
 以下、本実施形態における入力デバイスの動作フローを主に図5~図7を用いて説明する。
 図5に示すステップST1では初期オフセット補正が実行される。図5に示す初期オフセット補正(ステップST1)は、例えば入力デバイス1に対する電源投入後に一回、各荷重センサA~Dからのセンサ出力に対してゼロ点補正を実行する。図5のステップST1でのゼロ点補正は、電源投入後での各荷重センサA~Dのセンサ出力がゼロでなく、ばらついているときにゼロとなるように調整するためのものである。
 この初期オフセット補正で得たゼロ点補正値を、各荷重センサA~Dから得られたセンサ出力に反映させて、テーブル21を形成する。すなわちテーブル21の各センサ出力は、ゼロ点補正されたものである。
 また初期設定として図7に示す初期測定フローを実行することが好ましい。この初期設定は、例えば入力デバイス1の出荷前に行う。あるいは、入力デバイス1を購入した一般利用者が、初期設定を行うようにすることも出来る。なお、この初期設定は一回だけ行えば足りる。
 まず図7では、入力デバイス1の電源が投入されると図5で説明した初期オフセット補正を実行する(ステップST11)。
 続いて、データ取得ループ(ステップST2)に移行する。まずパネル2上の既存の位置に一定の荷重を印加する(ステップST3)。
 そして、ステップST14では、各荷重センサA~Dのセンサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)を測定する。
 このような測定データの取得を、パネル2上の異なる既存位置で、繰り返し行い、少なくとも4ポイント以上の測定データを得る(ステップST15)。4ポイント以上とするのは変数が「4」であるためである。
 図4に示すテーブル21には、図8に示す測定テーブル(模式図)が得られる。ここで、図8に示す測定テーブルの各位置x,y及びセンサ出力の値を、全て「○○○」で図示しているが、これは「数値を特定していない」という意味である。
 「位置x,位置y」は、上記したように、既存の位置であるから、固定値である。「DatA」は、荷重センサAのセンサ出力、「DatB」は、荷重センサBのセンサ出力、「DatC」は、荷重センサCのセンサ出力、「DatD」は、荷重センサDのセンサ出力を示している。図8に示す各センサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)は、ステップST11の初期オフセット補正によるゼロ点補正を反映した値になっている。
 この図8の測定テーブルを用い、4変数の線形方程式として、最小2乗法により、X位置係数(Ax、Bx、Cx、Dx)及びY位置係数(Ay、By、Cy、Dy)を求めることが出来る。
 本実施形態の入力デバイス1は、荷重バランスの変動により入力位置を検出するが、個々の荷重センサA~Dに特性差やパネル2の歪等があるため、初期状態で前記荷重バランスが均衡を保っておらず、位置検出精度の悪化を招く。よって、初期設定として、各荷重センサA~DのX位置係数及びY位置係数を、予め最小2乗法で求めておき、各位置係数を、算出部22(図4参照)で位置データ(x,y)を算出する際に適用することで、位置検出精度を効果的に向上させることが可能になる。
 上記した初期設定により得られたX位置係数(Ax、Bx、Cx、Dx)及びY位置係数(Ay、By、Cy、Dy)は制御部20内に保存されている。
 本実施形態において、初期設定後の通常ルーチンとして、図5の初期オフセット補正(ステップST1)を実行した後、処理ループ(ステップST2)に移行する。処理ループ(ステップST2)では、ステップST3からステップST9までが繰り返し行われることになる。
 まず図5のステップST3(第1の処理手段)では、一定の測定期間、各荷重センサA~Dの出力変化量の絶対値が所定の閾値α以下であるとき、ゼロ点補正の更新を行う。
 例えば図5に示すステップST3(第1の処理手段)内は、図6に示す複数のステップに分かれている。
 まず図6のステップST16では、サンプリング時間確認として、T1(sec)が経過したか否かを判定する。
 ステップST16で、T1の時間が経過するごとに得られた各荷重センサA~Dのセンサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)をゼロ点補正の更新データとして保存する。
 ここで、今、図9に示すデータ1~10が得られているとする。各データ1~10は、Δtの時間間隔ごとに得ることが出来る。各データ1~10のセンサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)は、初期オフセット補正によるゼロ点補正を反映したものである。
 ここで、T1の時間間隔(Δtの時間間隔よりも大きい)で得られたデータは例えば、データ1、4、7及び10であるとする。よって、これら各データ1,4,7,10を更新データとして保存する(図6のステップST17)。
 続く図6のステップST18では、更新データがT2以上(T2は複数)になったか否か判断される。測定データがT2以上でなければ、T2以上になるまで更新データを保存し続ける。測定データがT2以上になったらステップST19に移行する。
 例えば、図6のステップST18における更新データ数T2が4であれば、データ1,4,7,10を保存したら、ステップST19に移行する。
 図6のステップST19では、各荷重センサA~Dにおける更新データの出力変化量の絶対値が、全て所定の閾値α以下であるか否か判断される。ここで、閾値αの単位は例えば「LSB」である。
 ここで「出力変化量」とは、基準値からの変化量を意味し、本実施形態では、例えば、出力ゼロを「基準値」と定めることができる。また、各測定データの出力変化量は正(プラス)である場合と負(マイナス)である場合があるため、閾値αと比較する時は出力変化量を絶対値としている。
 図6のステップST19で、各測定データの出力変化量の絶対値が全て、所定の閾値α以下であると判断されると、ステップST20に移行する。そして、ステップST20では、ゼロ点補正値を更新する。このステップST20では、例えば、T2以上の各更新データを各荷重センサA~Dの出力変化量ごとに平均して、各出力変化量の平均値を、各荷重センサA~Dの初期ゼロ点補正値に夫々、加算する。
 更新されたゼロ点補正値は、図9に示すデータ10以降に取得される各データに反映される。
 ステップST20が終了したら、ステップST21では、ゼロ点補正の更新のために保存していたT2以上の更新データをクリアして、再び、ステップST16に戻る。また、ステップST19で、各更新データのいずれかの出力変化量の絶対値が、所定の閾値αよりも大きいと判断されると、ステップST21に移行して、保存していた各更新データをクリアし、ステップST16に戻される。
 ゼロ点補正の更新は、図6のステップで実行されるものであるから、ステップST4~ST9の実行状況に係らず行われる。
 図5に示すステップST3及び図6のゼロ点補正の更新は、入力デバイス1を傾けたときのパネル2の自重や、温度ドリフト等による経時変化に伴うゼロ点補正ずれを補正(更新)する必要があるために行う。
 図5に示す初期オフセット補正(ステップST1)を行わず、経時変化に伴うゼロ点補正(図5のステップST3、図6)のみを行うことも可能であるが、初期オフセット補正によりゼロ点補正を実行した後に、ゼロ点補正を更新していくことが好適である。
 初期オフセット補正を行わないと、電源投入後、図6のステップST18におけるT2以上の更新データが保存されるまでの間のデータ(例えば図9のデータ1~10)については、ゼロ点補正が反映されず、また電源投入直後、図6のステップST18におけるT2以上の更新データが保存される前に、操作者が入力操作をしてしまうと、ゼロ点補正が行われないまま、位置検出を行うことになり、位置検出精度の低下を招く。よって、初期オフセット補正によるゼロ点補正を実行した後に、ゼロ点補正を更新していく処理手段とすることが、位置検出精度の向上を図るうえで好ましい。
 次に図5に示すステップST4では、図4に示す算出部22にて、位置データ及び各荷重センサA~Dの全荷重Zを算出する。
 図4に示すテーブル21からセンサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)が算出部22に送られる。算出部22に送られるセンサ出力は、ゼロ点補正(ステップST1,ST3)を反映したものである。
 算出部22では、以下の[数1]により、位置x、位置y、及び全荷重Zが算出される。

 ここで、Wは、図1におけるX方向の幅寸法を示し、図1に示すように、荷重センサB(荷重センサA)の中心と荷重センサC(荷重センサD)の中心間の幅寸法で規定される。またLは、図1におけるY方向の長さ寸法を示し、図1に示すように、荷重センサA(荷重センサD)の中心と荷重センサB(荷重センサC)の中心間の幅寸法で規定される。また、X位置係数(Ax、Bx、Cx、Dx)及びY位置係数(Ay、By、Cy、Dy)は、図7の初期測定フローにより最小2乗法で求めることが出来る。
 これにより図9に示すように、時間、センサ出力、及び、算出データ(位置データx,yび全荷重Z)のテーブルを得ることができる。
 算出部22では、センサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)を取得すると、常に位置データx,y及び全荷重Zの算出を行う。この時点では、まだ、人が入力操作をしたのか否かまで判別していない。そこで、ステップST5以降で、算出された算出データの適正化を行う。
 まずステップST5では、各荷重センサA~Dの全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|が所定の閾値β以下であるとき、各算出データを正常と判断し、閾値βよりも大きい場合には異常と判断して高周波ノイズの異常データを除去する(第2の処理手段)。また、この各荷重センサA~Dの全荷重Zの変化量も各荷重センサの出力変化量と同様、正の場合と負の場合があるため、閾値βと比較する時は絶対値としている。
 ステップST5では、常に例えば最新の3つの算出データを取得して実行する。例えば図9に示すデータ10をちょうど取得した段階にあるとき、データ8~10を図4のテーブル21から高周波ノイズ判断部24に送り、高周波ノイズ判断部24にて、|荷重Z0-荷重Z1|及び、|荷重Z1-荷重Z2|の各dZ/dt(絶対値)が、共に、閾値β(単位は例えばLSB/ms)を越えている場合、荷重Z1を異常データと判断して、データ9をテーブル21から除去する。
 すなわち、全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|が非常に大きい場合、操作者の通常の入力操作ではなく、パネル2への衝撃や電気的な異常ノイズが瞬間的に作用したものによると判断される。このため、全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|が所定の閾値βよりも大きい場合には人が操作したものでない高周波ノイズと判断し、異常データとして除去する。
 一方、全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|が所定の閾値β以下であればステップST6に移行する。
 ステップST6では、ホワイトノイズ除去のために、各算出データを図4のデータ平滑部25により移動平均して平滑化する(第5の処理手段)。移動平均の計算は、連続する複数の位置データx,y及び全荷重Zを夫々、平均化して求めることが出来る。図9に示すデータ10を移動平均するとき、例えば、データ10と、前の3つのデータ7~9を用いて前記データ10を移動平均化することが出来る。このデータ平滑化は全ての算出データについて行う。
 ただし、ステップST6では、各位置データx,yおよび全荷重Zは必ず移動平均するのが好ましいが、全荷重Zの移動平均は必要に応じて行っても良い。
 なお、後述するように、算出部22により得られた連続する算出データのうち、最初と最後の所定数の算出データを除去するステップ(図5のステップST8:第4の処理手段)があるが、データの平滑化処理(第5の処理手段)は、前後の算出データを除去するステップよりも前に実行することが好適である。画面更新(図5のステップST9)に用いる全ての算出データを確実にデータ平滑化するためである。
 次に図5のステップST7では、図4の低荷重判断部26にて、各荷重センサA~Dの全荷重の絶対値|Z|が所定の閾値γ以上であるとき、算出データを指やペン等の操作体による入力有と判断し、前記閾値γよりも小さい場合には未入力と判断して低荷重の未入力と判断したデータを除去する(第3の処理手段)。
 図9に示すように、人の操作の有無に関わらず、取得したセンサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)に基づいて、算出部22では、位置データx,y及び全荷重Zを算出する。
 このとき、図5のステップST3のように、経時変化によるゼロ点補正の更新を行うことで、非入力操作時、高周波ノイズを除いて、各センサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)をゼロに近づけることができるが、いずれかのセンサ出力(DatA、DatB、DatC、DatD)がゼロでない場合、全荷重Zは微小ながらも出力される。
 このとき図5のステップST6までは、低荷重側を判断していないので、ステップST7では、通常、人が操作したときに得られるであろう全荷重の絶対値|Z|に対する最低限の閾値γを設けておき、全荷重の絶対値|Z|が閾値γよりも低い場合には低荷重のノイズと判断し、そのデータを未入力データとして除去する。
 全荷重の絶対値|Z|が閾値γ以上であれば、ステップST8に移行する。全荷重の絶対値|Z|が、閾値γよりも低ければ、ステップST2に戻される。なお、全荷重Zの値も正と負の場合があり、閾値γと比較する時は絶対値としている。
 続いて、ステップST8では、図4のデータ前後除去部27にて、連続的に得られた各データのうち、最初と最後の所定数のデータを除去する(第4の処理手段)。
 すなわち図9に示すデータ1~10までが連続的に得られたデータであるとき、例えば最初のデータ1~3と、後のデータ8~10を除去して、データ4~7のみを残す。
 例えば指やペン等の操作体がパネル2の表面に接触した瞬間、及び操作体がパネル2から離れる瞬間、パネル2の撓みや振動により位置検出ずれを生じやすい。よって、ステップST8では、最初と最後の所定数のデータを除去している。
 次に、ステップST9では、図2に示す液晶表示ディスプレイ4のパネル2を介して表示される表示画面を更新する。このとき図4に示す制御部20から液晶表示ディスプレイ4の駆動部(図示しない)には少なくとも位置データx,yを送信する。必要であれば全荷重Zのデータも送信することが出来る。
 画面更新後、再び、処理ループST2に戻される。
 本実施形態では、パネル2下に複数の荷重センサA~Dを配置した入力デバイスに対して、図5の動作フローにより良好な補正アルゴリズムを確立でき、これにより、位置検出ずれや不要な異常データの出力を抑制することが可能になる。
 本実施形態では、図5に示す動作フローを必ずしも、図5に示す順番どおりに行わなくてもよい。例えば、ステップST6をステップST7の後に行ってもよいし、ステップST5をステップST7の後に行ってもよい。

Claims (7)

  1.  パネルと、パネル下の異なる位置に配置された複数の荷重センサと、を有し、各荷重センサの荷重に応じて得られたセンサ出力に基づき、パネル表面を操作する操作体の入力位置を算出可能な入力デバイスにおいて、
     一定の測定期間、各荷重センサの出力変化量の絶対値が所定の閾値α以下であるとき、各荷重センサのセンサ出力に対するゼロ点補正を実行する第1の処理手段と、
     ゼロ点補正を実行した各荷重センサのセンサ出力を用いて位置データを算出するとともに、各荷重センサの全荷重Zを算出する算出手段と、
     前記算出手段によって得られた算出データのうち、前記全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|と所定の閾値βとを比較し、前記全荷重Zの変化量の絶対値|dZ/dt|が前記閾値β以下であるとき、それら算出データを正常と判断し、前記閾値βよりも大きい場合には異常と判断して高周波ノイズの異常データを除去する第2の処理手段と、
     前記算出手段によって得られた算出データのうち、前記全荷重の絶対値|Z|と所定の閾値γとを比較し、前記全荷重の絶対値|Z|が前記閾値γ以上であるとき、その算出データを前記操作体による入力有と判断し、前記閾値γよりも小さい場合には未入力と判断してこの低荷重のデータを除去する第3の処理手段と、
     前記算出手段により連続して得られた各算出データのうち、最初と最後の所定データ数を除去する第4の処理手段と、
     を有することを特徴とする入力デバイス。
  2.  前記第1の処理手段では、各荷重センサから夫々、所定数の更新データを取得し、且つ全ての出力変化量の絶対値が閾値α以下であるときにゼロ点補正を実行する請求項1記載の入力デバイス。
  3.  初期オフセット補正により、各荷重センサのセンサ出力に対するゼロ点補正を実行した後、前記第1の処理手段で、ゼロ点補正の更新を行う請求項1又は2に記載の入力デバイス。
  4.  初期設定として、前記位置データを算出する際に必要な各荷重センサのX位置係数及びY位置係数を、複数の測定データを用いて、最小2乗法により求める請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の入力デバイス。
  5.  各算出データを移動平均する第5の処理手段を有し、前記第5の処理手段は、前記第4の処理手段より前のタイミングで実行される請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の入力デバイス。
  6.  前記荷重センサは、前記パネルの四隅に配置されている請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の入力デバイス。
  7.  請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の入力デバイスと、透明な前記パネルの下側に設置された表示ディスプレイとを有し、
     各処理手段を経て得られた前記位置データに基づいて、画面表示が更新されることを特徴とする表示装置。
