Definitions

  • THIS invention relates to a seat. More specifically, the invention relates to a roll-up seat that offers postural support thereby reducing back pain.
  • the seat may be used for indoor applications in conjunction with other seating apparatus, it is particularly suitable to use for outdoor leisure activities where the seat can be placed directly on the ground.
  • a seat including: a seating panel comprising opposing front and rear edges, opposing first side edges and a first support surface for supporting the buttocks and rear upper leg regions of a user; a back supporting panel comprising opposing upper and lower edges, opposing second side edges and a second support surface for supporting the lower back region of the user, wherein the rear edge of the seating panel and the lower edge of the back supporting panel are common and form a first fold line about which the seating and back supporting panels are foldable relative to one another between an operative position, wherein the first and second support surfaces of the respective panels are spaced from one another receive the user in a seated position, and an inoperable position, wherein the first and second support surfaces of the respective panels are folded against one another enabling the user to roll up the seat for storage; lower side supporting panels for supporting the outer side regions of the user's upper legs, the lower side supporting panels extending outwardly from the opposing first side edges of the seating panel and being foldable relative to the seating panel about secondary common fold lines; upper
