Abstract
A construction (1) for a storage space, such as e.g. a garage, a garden shed, a rubbish bin, which construction includes two or more attached laminar building elements (2), and the building elements (2) are attached together by a tongue-and-groove locking (10) in connection with them, and the building elements are of magnesium oxide plate (MgO plate).
Description
CONSTRUCTION
This invention relates to a construction, which construction can be used as a storage space, such as e.g. a garage, a garden shed, a rubbish bin etc.
Various arrangements are known of constructions, which are used as storages, and which constructions consist of several attached building elements which can be e.g. laminar. Conventionally, the building elements are attached together by screws or other fastening means to provide the construction. A disadvantage of known arrangements is the fact that building them is awkward and laborious and therefore expensive. Furthermore, the constructions used are not very durable.
The object of this invention is to provide such a construction which is well suitable for a storage space or equivalent, which is quick and easy to build and thus requires no special skills to build it, which is durable, and which can be build in a desired size. Additionally, the object of the arrangement according to the invention is to provide an arrangement more cost-effective than the known arrangements for a construction which is also fire-resistant.
The arrangement according to the invention is characterised by what is stated in the characterising part of claim 1.
The arrangement according to the invention is further characterised by what is stated in claims 2-7. By means of the invention, it is possible to form a construction which is quick and easy to build and which can provide a durable and functioning construction to be used as a storage space etc. The construction according to the invention is also easy to pull down and to transfer to be build in some other place, if so required.
Next, the invention will be described in more detail by referring to the accompanying drawings la-lc in which
Fig. la shows a side view of a construction according to the invention.
Fig. lb shows a top view of the construction according to the invention.
Fig. lc shows a sectional view of a tongue-and-groove locking employed in the construction according to the invention.
Fig. la shows a construction 1 according to the invention which is suitable for use as a storage space, such as e.g. a garage, a garden shed, a rubbish bin, and which construction includes two or more attached laminar building elements 2 which are attached together with a tongue-and-groove locking in connection with them, being formed between profile parts 7 and 7 ' , described in more detail in Fig. lc. A desired number of building elements can be attached, depending on the size and shape of the construction required. Corner parts (corner profiles) of the construction are designated by reference number 6 and a base of the construction with number 5. Equivalently, a roof part of the construction is designated with reference number 3. The laminar building elements 2 of the construction consist of magnesium oxide plates (MgO plates) which are surrounded by the profile 7, 7 ' , such as an aluminium profile, provided with a locking tongue and groove. The MgO plate can have been coated with various coatings or paints. Furthermore, an insulating plate, such as a polyurethane plate, can have been glued to the building elements, inside the building element, and the insulating plate can have an aluminium coating.
Fig. lb shows a top view of the construction according to the invention, where several building elements are attached together by means of a tongue-and-groove locking 10, which is formed between the profile parts 7 and 7 ' .
Fig. lc shows the tongue-and-groove locking 10 in the construction according to the invention, where a tongue and a groove are formed in the profiles 7 and 7 ' being in the building elements 2 such that the building elements can be easily attached to each other by the tongue- and-groove locking 10. The tongue-and-groove locking (locking tongues and grooves 11, 12) keeps the building elements 2 attached to each other tightly close to each other and prevents them from moving mutually. The shape of the tongue-and-groove locking (i.e. the tongue and the groove) can be like the one shown in the figure, but it can also have some other shape.
The profiles 7 and 7 ' , such as aluminium profiles, are attached by screws 9 to the building elements. Reference number 6 designates the corner profile, which has grooves, and to which the building elements are attached by screws 8. In the arrangement according to the invention, the profiles are of aluminium or some other metal.
It is well known by those skilled in the art that the invention does not limit to the embodiment examples described above, but it may vary within the scope of the enclosed patent claims.
The thickness of the building element used in the arrangement according to the invention can be between 10mm-50mm but, in an advantageous case, the thickness of the laminar building element is 18mm.
