Abstract
The present invention relates to electrophoretic particles and to a production method therefor, and also to a display device and a drive method using the same. An electrophoretic display device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: facing substrates comprising drive electrodes; an array of cavities filled with one or two or more types of data-display particles, disposed between the substrates; and colourless particles which are dispersed together with the data-display particles, in either some or all of the cavities.
