Abstract

L'invention porte sur un agencement de détection de suintement statique, lequel agencement est destiné à être utilisé avec un agencement de joint d'étanchéité du type dans lequel un joint d'étanchéité annulaire est comprimé, lors de l'utilisation, par un fluide sous pression, lequel agencement de détection de suintement statique comprend un piston de compression pouvant coulisser à l'intérieur d'un boîtier et formant avec le boîtier une première chambre et une seconde chambre, le piston de compression ayant une première surface efficace exposée à une première pression de fluide à l'intérieur de la première chambre, qui est associée à une pression de ligne d'écoulement ou de forage de puits, lors de l'utilisation, le piston de compression ayant de plus une seconde surface efficace exposée à la pression de fluide à l'intérieur de la seconde chambre, la seconde chambre communiquant, lors de l'utilisation, avec une chambre de l'agencement de joint d'étanchéité à laquelle est exposé le joint d'étanchéité, la seconde surface efficace étant plus petite que la première surface efficace, et un indicateur indicatif de la position du piston de compression à l'intérieur du boîtier.
