Description
"UTENSÍLIO PARA AUXILIAR A "UTENSIL TO AID
APLICAÇÃO DE COLÍRIOS" . APPLICATION OF EYES
The present invention relates to a tool specially developed to serve as a means of aid in the operation of applying eye drops, said tool being configured as a piece which acts as a base on which a eye drop bottle is positioned, said base being positioned by the user over his face and aligned with one of his eyes.
The object of this patent is intended to facilitate the administration of eye drops and other ophthalmic solutions, thereby acting positively on the correct execution of a treatment as prescribed.
As is well known, the use of eye drops and other ophthalmic solutions presupposes the administration of such substances in the form of droplets that are dripped directly onto the eyeball, and such substances are usually packaged in small plastic vials.
The application of these ophthalmic solutions by the patients themselves can be a complicating factor, since dripping something directly into the eyes is a task that is not faced naturally and requires a minimum and care.
In certain cases, the patient's own application of the ophthalmic substance may be impaired not only by the possible lack of its dexterity, as it can also be complicated in situations where this same patient has any motor disorder, even if moderate.
Therefore, it is not a rare condition that the application of eye drops and other ophthalmic solutions represents a task that is not normally performed to the satisfaction, a fact that incurs drug wastage and can even result in damage regarding the efficiency of the treatment. prescribed.
