Abstract

The present invention discloses an easy open crown cap and its production method. It is composed of a top and a side, and a connecting strip with a handle is extended from the hemline on its side. The first longitudinal incision and the second longitudinal incision are symmetrically established on both sides of the said connecting strip on its side. The said first incision and second incision are located between its top and the hemline on its side. An easy open crown cap and its production method in the present invention use such a manner that the crown cap can be easily opened, which can avoid bruising the bottle mouth when it is opened, and improve the recycling rate of glass bottles. Due to the existence of incisions on the side of the cap, when the pressure sealed within a glass bottle is overhigh because of external factors, the incisions on the side of the cap will be swelling up, which results in air leak, reduces the risks of glass bottle explosion after sealing, can avoid the phenomenon of twisted insertion between crown caps caused by existing incisions during production in a production line, guarantee the product quality and enhance the productivity effect.

Description

An Easy Open Crown Cap and Its Production Method Technical field
The present invention relates to an easy open crown cap applicable to glass bottles for external packing of wines and beverages, as well as its production method.
Background technique
At present, on the market, all glass bottles to hold wines and beverages use crown caps, which need to be opened with an open tool, and have inconvenienced consumers. To solve this problem, a method is used by riveting a tab on the cap with two presnicked incisings. For instance, a Chinese invention patent with the publication No. of CN1404940A discloses a "method for producing an easy open bottle cap". Disadvantages of such caps lie in that: It is difficult to maintain the same depth of incising, and to guarantee the same sealing quality and easy opening. With the improvement of packaging standard and the demand for easy opening, crown caps with other structures also appear, but there always exists the phenomenon of bottle mouth bruise during opening and the risk of glass bottle explosion after sealing.
Disclosure of the invention
One of the technical matters to be solved in the present invention is to provide an easy open crown cap, which is easy to open, can improve the recycling rate of glass bottles and reduce the risks of glass bottle explosion after sealing.
To solve this technical problem, technical scheme of the present invention is that: An easy open crown cap is composed of a top and a side, and a connecting strip with a handle is extended from the hemline on the side of the cap. The first longitudinal incision and the second longitudinal incision are symmetrically established on both sides of the said connecting strip on the side of the cap. The said first incision and second incision are located between the top of the cap and the hemline on the side of the cap.
The said first incision and second incision are 3~6 mm long, distance from the said first incision to the hemline on the side of the cap and that from the second incision to the hemline on the side of the cap are 0.4 - 2 mm. The said handle is a tab (3).
A circular cavity is established at the top center of the said cap, and its shape is fit for the said tab.
The said connecting strip is rectangular and is 5-8mm wide.
Another technical problem to be solved in the present invention is to provide a method for producing the easy open crown cap, which can improve the productivity effect, guarantee the quality of crown caps and easiness of opening crown caps, and reduce the risks of glass bottle explosion after sealing.
In order to solve this technical problem, technical scheme of the present invention is that: A method for producing the easy open crown cap mainly comprises the processes of coating, cutting, cap making and lining. The easy open crown cap is composed of a top and a side, and a connecting strip with a handle is extended from the hemline on the side of the cap. The first longitudinal incision and the second longitudinal incision are symmetrically established on both sides of the said connecting strip on the side of the cap. The said first incision and second incision are located between the top of the cap and the hemline on the side of the cap. The said cap making process comprises the following steps: a) producing the tab and connecting strip on a flitch, b) stamping two symmetrical longitudinal incisions, c) folding the tab and connecting strip together, d) making the easy open crown cap using a cap mold.

Implementation details
As shown in Figures 1-3, the easy open crown cap body 4 is composed of a top and a side. There is a circular cavity 5 at the top center of the cap, and a connecting strip 1 with a handle is extended from the hemline 7 on the side of the cap. The first longitudinal incision 2 and the second longitudinal incision 6 are symmetrically established on both sides of the connecting strip 1 on the side of the cap. The first incision 2 and second incision 6 are located between the top of the cap and the hemline 7 on the side of the cap, and are 3 - 6 mm long, distance from the first incision 2 to the hemline on the side of the cap and that from the second incision 6 to the hemline 7 on the side of the cap are 0.4 - 2 mm. The distance depends on the material of the crown cap, and a small distance is selected for hard material, and vice versa. The connecting strip 1 is rectangular and is 5 ~ 8 mm wide, the end of which is an integrated tab 3, namely the handle. Steps of the cap making process are as follows: a) producing the tab 3 and the connecting strip 1 on a flitch 10, which is punched and flanged to make into the tab 3 and form the connecting strip 1 ; b) stamping two symmetrical longitudinal incisions; stamping the first incision 2 and second incisions 6 within the bumping profile 9 of the cap, diameter of which is 38 mm according to the national standard of crown caps (GB/T13521-92). The first incision 2 and second incision 6 are 3-6 mm long and along the normal direction of the bumping profile 9 of the cap. Distance from the first incision 2 to the bumping profile 9 of the cap and that from the second incision 6 to the bumping profile 9 of the cap are 0.4 ~ 2 mm: (c) making a circular cavity 5, which is located in the middle of the bumping profile 9 of the cap; d) folding the tab 3 and connecting strip 1 together, the tab 3 is folded within the circular cavity to form a vacancy 8; e) making the easy open crown cap with a cap mold: The bumping profile 9 of the cap forms the hemline 7 on the side of the cap, the circular cavity 5 is located on the top of the cap, and the first incision 2 and second incision 6 are located between the top of the cap and the hemline 7 on the side of the cap.

Claims

An easy open crown cap composed of a top and a side, wherein, a connecting strip (1 ) with a handle is extended from the hemline (7) on the side of the cap, the first longitudinal incision (2) and the second longitudinal incision (6) are symmetrically established on both sides of the said connecting strip (1 ) on the side of the cap. The said first incision (2) and second incision (6) are located between the top of the cap and the hemline (7) on the side of the cap.

An easy open crown cap defined in claim 1 , is characterized: the said first incision (2) and second incision (6) are 3 - 6 mm long, distance from the said first incision (2) to the hemline (7) on the side of the cap and that from the second incision (6) to the hemline (7) on the side of the cap are 0.4 -2 mm.
3. An easy open crown cap defined in claim 1 or 2, is characterized: the said handle is a tab (3).
4. An easy open crown cap defined in claim 3, is characterized: a circular cavity (5) is established at the top center of the said cap, and its shape is fit for the said tab (3).
5. An easy open crown cap defined in claim 4, is characterized: the said connecting strip (1 ) is rectangular and is 5-8mm wide.
6. A method for producing the easy open crown cap mainly comprises the processes of coating, cutting, cap making and lining. The easy open crown cap is composed of a top and a side, a connecting strip (1 ) with a handle is extended from the hemline (7) on the side of the cap, the first longitudinal incision (2) and the second longitudinal incision (6) are symmetrically established on both sides of the said connecting strip (1 ) on the side of the said cap. The said first incision (2) and second incision (6) are located between the top of the cap and the hemline (7) on the side of the cap. Wherein, the said cap making process comprises the following steps: a) Producing the tab and connecting strip on a flitch, b) stamping two symmetrical longitudinal incisions, c) folding the tab and connecting strip together, d) making the easy open crown cap using a cap mold.
7. A method for producing the said easy open crown cap defined in claim 6, is characterized: a working procedure "making the circular cavity" is added between steps b and c, and the said tab in step c is folded within the circular cavity.
