Abstract

Disclosed are a voltage management system and method. According to one embodiment of the invention, provided is a voltage management system for managing voltages in an electrical power grid, the system comprising: a fast-response voltage controller for generating reactive-power output ratio data by using grid reactive-power output data and maximum and minimum output ratio data; and a reactive-power distributor for generating reactive-power reference data by using maximum and minimum output ratio data and reactive-power output ratio data, and generating voltage control data by using grid reactive-power output data and reactive-power reference data.
