Abstract

The invention relates to part of a device for charging a battery (10), intended to be mounted inside a motor vehicle, characterised in that it comprises: a secondary coil (3) that can be connected to the battery (10) so that it can transmit a charge current thereto; and a backup coil (23) that can be connected electrically so that it can transfer a charge power in a contactless manner to the secondary coil (3) in order to generate a current in the secondary coil.
