The open-loop and/or closed-loop control device (109) has a light sensor (113) which is arranged in the interior of the housing, and said open-loop and/or closed-loop control device (109) is configured to allow light generated by the gas discharge lamp (106) to be incident on the light sensor (113) and to adjust to a setpoint value a signal of the light sensor (113) which results from the incidence of light as an actual value by adapting the supply of electrical power to the gas discharge lamp (106) in a closed-loop control circuit (200).
