Abstract

The invention relates to a method in the finishing of a fiber-web machine, in which method, reeling a full-width web (W) completing from the fiber-web machine by a reel-up (30) into parent rolls (33A) and finishing the parent rolls (33A) by at least one slitter-winder (20), on which the parent roll (13, 33A) is unwound, the unwound web is slit in the longitudinal direction by slitter blades (34, 35) into partial webs which are wound on the winding section of the slitter-winder into partial web rolls. In the method, the capacity of the fiber-web machine at least partially exceeds the capacity of at least one slitter-winder and, in the method, the exceeding capacity is wound at least partially into web rolls (33; 33B) directly for further processing. The invention also relates to a reel-up concept for the reel-up of the fiber web (W), which reel-up concept comprises a reel-up, which includes a reeling drum (31), via a reeling nip of which reeling drum (31) and a web roll (33, 33A, 33B) being formed the web roll is arranged being windable, and which reel-up concept is located in a fiber-web machine which comprises at least one slitter-winder (20) for finishing web rolls being completed from the reel-up (30). The reel-up (30) is arranged to reel the fiber web (W) around at least two different types of reeling cores (32A, 32B) and the web rolls (33A) reeled around one type of reeling cores (32A) are arranged to be finished by said slitter-winder (20) and the web rolls (33B) wound around the other type of reeling cores (32B) are arranged transferrable directly for further processing.
