Abstract
The present invention relates to a root hair-specific expression promoter derived from EXPB1 gene of barley and to a use thereof, and more particularly, to a root hair-specific expression promoter derived from EXPB1 gene of barley, to a root-specific plant expression vector including the promoter, to a plant body which is transformed into the vector, to a method for root-specifically expressing a foreign gene in the transformed plant body including a step of recombining the foreign gene with the vector, to a transformed plant body prepared by the method wherein a foreign gene is root-specifically expressed, and to a seed of the transformed plant body.
