Description
DESCRIPTION
SPECIMEN FABRIC, YARN, FIBRE WASHING MACHINE
The Related Art
The invention relates to a laboratory specimen washing machine used in textile dyeing plant laboratories, particularly in standardisation of reactive dyestuff washing processes.
The Prior Art
Colour matching processes are carried out in Textile Dyeing Plant Laboratories using Colour Measuring devices, Pippetting and Dyeing Machines by means of the technology developed to date.
The last and most important step of colour matching process is washing and colour matching process must be carried out together. Whereas, washing process which is the most important process is performed in containers, coffee-pots in a very simple manner, without a control, away from any kind of standard. It is completely a coincidence to find the right one with this method. The formula given to the business enterprise is not at the (required) value which is supposed to be most of the time. Therefore, colour is tried to be matched by repeating the process relevant with dyeing and washing. Sometimes, same process may have to be repeated. This case means addition of chemicals and waste of time. To find the right one takes time via addition of chemical. The dyeing and washing process found will not be exactly correct. It is the closest + or - value as much as possible. Additions made for finding the right one are repetition of dyeing process for many times. Washing process on the other hand is a process which is reverse of dyeing. In case washing process happens to be elongated, removal of the dye applied is possible. As a result of this, incorrect values will be obtained.
Time, energy, water, chemical agents and dyestuff are consumed in vain. Additional burden this process brings to business enterprise for a new colour is between 30%- 40%. That ratio is directly proportional to the weight of the volumes to be dyed. And that means bringing additional costs to every fabric volumes dyed in an enterprise.
In the prior art, it is observed that developments have been made after a method which can be deemed primitive such as washing in coffee-pots or containers. One of these developments is the patent file contained in the literature and file number of which is TR 2008/01740 titled "Laboratory specimen - washing machine". The sad machine is a horizontal system setup for washing specimens. That system has certain drawbacks. These drawbacks are as follows:
• Liquid sent to washing tubes come to the tubes from the bottom and the tubes overflow after they are filled up to the brim,
• It is not possible to change the amount of water going to washing tubes,
• Since the overflow process is carried out in the washing tubes, there is the likelihood of intermingling of flottes (Flotte is the process solution
accommodating chemical agents in itself),
• Since the tubes are filled from the bottom and discharged from the bottom, dyesfuff and chemical residues may remain in the walls of the tubes ,
• Since the tubes are heated on steam, precision heat setting can not be
achieved,
• And heat equation between tubes can not be achieved,
• Cooling system is not available,
For dyed - washed fabric, there is a two-way movement as only up and down,
• Takes up too much room since it has a horizontal configuration.
In conclusion, the need for an automatic, regular and adjustable laboratory specimen washing machine eliminating the above mentioned drawbacks and disadvantages, able to realise washing process after specimen fabrics are dyed in laboratories before operating process of textile finishing - dyeing plants in a standard manner and without a problem and the inadequacy of existing solutions have necessitated to make an improvement in the relevant related art.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The specimen fabric (or fibre or yarn, similar textile product) washing machine subject of the invention, automatically realises specimen washing process carried out for matching after the process of dyeing the fabric in desired colour in the laboratory medium.
As it will be seen from Figure 1 , 2 and 3, it is a machine comprising required setups in itself required for the washing process, structured perpendicular to the ground plane, having upper (A), centre (B) and lower parts (C). In Figure 1 , a two-dimensional view of the machine taken from the front part is given. As will be seen from the figure, on the upper part of the machine (A) the chemical washing liquid received from the chemical tanks (CT-1 , CT-2, CT-3) outside is pumped up to the liquid preparation tank (3) thanks to the dosing pumps (DZ-1 , DZ-2, DZ-3) inside the machine. On the other hand, water is transmitted to the liquid preparation tank (3) through pipes (13) with the water intake vent (1 ). Therein it is made homogeneous by mixing into it the washing liquid (flotte) by means of a mixer (2) inside the liquid preparation tank (3). Afterwards, the processing liquid is transmitted to the distribution and level tank (6) in free flow from the lower part of the liquid preparation tank (3) due to the transfer valve (4) and pipes (13) connected to itself. After filling of processing liquid into the tubes (8) is realised in that section, excess water remaining in the distribution and level tank (6) is discharged out thanks to the overflow valve (5) and the pipes (13) with which it is connected. Flotte coming from the distribution and level tank (6) fills in the baffles (12) arrange for transmission to each one of the tubes (8). Flotte is transmitted to said baffles (12) and subsequently to the tubes (8) by means of pressurised air. In that part, levelling is made by moving the levelling apparatus (11 ) up and down according to the amount of the liquid require to be filled in. Water intake vent (1 ) performing water intake process operates in association with levelling apparatus (relay) (11). It starts or stops water intake process at the
command it is instructed from said level relay (11). The washing liquid filling in said baffles (12) is sent to the tubes at more higher pressure and at higher capacity thanks to the transfer valve (7) and pipe (13). Flotte or washing liquid flowing onto said tubes (8) arrives at the water intake channel (82) first. The water intake channel (82) is between the tube (8) and the cover (80) and surrounds the tube (8) all around from its outer part. The pressurized liquid filling into the water intake channel (82) is sprinkling into the tube (8) from the places wherein the grooves (81 ) are found. The liquid hitting the inner walls of the tube (8) is doing washing while going downwards (Figure 4). On the tubes (8), heating and cooling panel in contact with the tubes (8) is located. Heating process of said heating and cooling panel (9) is achieved by means of the electric resistances inside it while cooling process on the other hand is achieved by means of cold water flowing through the channels inside the panel (9). Precision heat setting can be made therein. Flotte inside the tubes (8) flotte, temperature value of the washing liquid can be read on the temperature indicators on each one of the tubes (8).
Inside the machine which is the subject of the invention, there is a specimen transporting and moving system (10) which carries and moves the specimen fabric. The specimen is both carried and moved four-ways right and left, up and down so washing will be healthy.
According to Figure 3, while in the upper part of the machine, a dosing pump (DZ) and liquid preparation tank (3) is located, the distribution and level tank (6), the baffles (12) in addition to specimen transporting and moving system (10) are contained in its centre part. In the lower part of the machine on the other hand, the tubes (8), the heating and cooling panel (9), the hose (13) and the check valve (15) wherein the liquid going through the heating and cooling panel is drained, furthermore, the chamber (14) wherein washing liquid is found. With opening of said check valve (15), washing liquid at a certain temperature fills into the chamber (14). Again, the specimen textile piece that can be moved inside the chamber (14) also becomes washed inside said chamber (14). As a result, in the laboratory medium, with performance of the washing process after dyeing process, the colour that was desired initially is obtained.
