Abstract

The invention relates to an energy management system (5), which can be electrically connected to at least one battery (2) and at least one energy load (3), wherein the battery (2) comprises a plurality of storage cells (1) for electrical energy and wherein the energy load (3) is supplied with consumption energy substantially by the energy management system (5), wherein the energy management system (5) can be individually electrically connected to a plurality of storage cells (1) for electrical energy or to a plurality of groups of said storage cells in such a way that a plurality of storage cells or a plurality of groups of storage cells jointly provide the consumption energy for the energy load (3) at least partially.
