Description

A TUBE CAP EMBODIMENT WITH A DENTAL FLOSS DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a dental floss which is used to dental care in health sector. The invention is especially dealing with a tube cap having a dental floss being developed to provide it easily accessible and usable more often, therefore encourages the use of dental floss. The mentioned cap, preferably includes a toothpaste but it also may contain hygienic care products such as cream, make up equipments etc. which women generally carry inside their handbag.
Background of the Invention
It has been well known that dental floss is a means for dental and teeth health care. Areas between teeth that a toothbrush is not able to reach and the parts of at the gum side of a fixed prosthesis body can be cleaned by dental floss. With dental floss, the plaques of residual food between teeth and below the line of gum may be removed. Accumulation of plaque may cause tooth decay and illness of gum, teeth should be cleaned properly with dental floss. Cleaning between teeth play a major role to prevent negative smell on breath and tooth decay. Even brushing properly with toothpaste in 2-3 minutes duration, which is normally necessary for dental health, it cannot be possible to clean the areas between teeth completely. Most of the time the beginning point of decays is these closed areas which are hard to reach. For a healthy teeth-cleaning process it must be necessarily used dental floss before brushing (at least 1 time in a day).
However dental floss is sold separately (in a container), it is an additional cost for costumers. Furthermore for a single function such as dental health care or teeth cleaning, requiring two different processes and using two separate containers makes the process harder and being not practical and problem for carrying and risky for loss of the prior solutions charges users not to use dental floss for daily hygiene.
Whereas dental floss may reach every zone which a toothbrush cannot and realize effective tooth and gum hygiene. But despite this fact, dental floss is a hard to supply product for customers because of generally not selling in every shop (it may not be found in
supermarkets or local shops) and only in pharmacies or drugstores.
To make dental floss easy to use, one of a prior art solution is a dental floss holder described in PCT/EP99/06573. It is described that said invention comprises a holder part which a floss spare spool is placed, a fork with two pins that floss can be stretched and furthermore at least a holding means to fix dental floss. Said floss holder or container has a single function and only for dental floss users in minor population. Therefore it has not an encouraging side for ones who are not using such products.
In CN101669843 patent application, an invention which comprises multiple functions in one place such as tooth cleaning component, dental floss and a clamped placement body, which said former elements are located therein, are described. The mentioned body comprises clamps arranged in-line for placing toothbrushes and therefore taking brushes and flosses without contacting each other and putting them to their place is possible.
Another invention is described in a utility model of TR 2007 01052 and it discloses a floss container comprising a disposable dental floss which is developed to prevent sterilization problem.
The two inventions mentioned above are intended for solving to hygiene problems and have not any encouraging side who are not accustomed to use such products.
DE19730309 A1 discloses a screw cap consisting of a dental floss roll in the cap. Said cap is a toothpaste cap and it comprises an upper cap which is separable for accessing floss. In addition, when toothpaste is intended to use, the screw cap is separated as opening.
Being separable of the cap disclosed in that application and the upper cap on it, which is used for dental floss hygiene, causes them easy to get lost, waste of time and difficulty of use. Without separating caps from their place, it is not able to use neither dental floss nor toothpaste. In addition, to use dental floss, an extra cutter is needed. It makes users dilatory and so usage of floss is reduced.
To remove aforementioned disadvantages, a novel tube cap embodiment, which has superior advantages over its prior counterparts, can meet important technical requirements.

Another objective of the invention is to provide a tube cap embodiment that can be adapted any type of tube that may contain toothpaste like personal care products which may be already in hand frequently, to prevent the problems of carrying and loss.
The present invention is embodied so that end of the dental floss remains outside therefore it provides the opportunity to access the dental floss easily and to use it pulling the floss out without need to open an upper cap. In this way, with the embodiment of the present invention, the technical problems of preserving dental floss in hygiene and air contact of the product in the tube (therefore drying, corruption etc.) are removed.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide an embodiment to minimize the wasting of time while taking the dental floss out from tube and to encourage usage of dental floss. Dental floss can be cut easily by sharpened cutter edges at the outlet mouth after pulling it out from its place and so there is no need to additional tool for cutting.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide occupying the dental floss less area thanks to winding around dental floss outlet channel inside the cap and having close dimensions with the other present toothpaste caps.
It is intended to achieve with the present invention that thanks to a special closing means connected to upper body, preserving the product inside the tube and dental floss is possible without in contact each other while the tube is not using.
To achieve aforementioned objectives, the present invention is a tube cap embodiment which is used by mounting on a tube mouth of a product which may be toothpaste, shaving cream, hand or face cream, body lotion etc. or any other product that somebody may preserve and carry in a tube, characterizing in that, it comprises;

Detailed Description of the Present Invention
In this detailed description, a tube cap embodiment (10) of the present invention is described for better understanding without constitute any limiting effect.
In figure 1 , a preferred embodiment of said tube cap (10), a perspective view from side is given, while an upper cap is opened. Said embodiment (10) comprises a tube body (60) and mouth (61), a lower cylindrical body (20) connected thereon, an upper cylindrical body (30) placed above said lower body (20), an outlet channel (21 ) monolithically embodied above said lower body (20) to provide taking out the product inside said tube body (60), a carrying spool (50) winded by dental floss (51) passing around said outlet channel (21) inside said upper body (30), an upper cap (40) covering said upper body (30), outlet channel (21) and carrying spool (50).
Said upper cap (40) comprises a monolithically embodied cylindrical closing means (41) to cover carrying spool (50), a cylindrical plug (41.1) to close said outlet channel (21 ) on said closing means (41), a passage channel (42) to pass out properly the dental floss (51 ) inside the closing means (41), an opening nail (43) embodied as a slight projecticn to open said upper cap (40), at least one opening mouth (44) placed as leaving dental floss (51) out over said opening nail (43).
An upper cap nest (31) is embodied to receive the upper cap (40) over said upper body (30). In front of said nest (31), a nail nest (32) is located to receive said opening nail (43).
In figure 2a, a perspective view of the preferred embodiment of said tube cap means(10), while the upper cap (40) is at the closing position, is given. The opening nail (43) is embodied so that it is slightly projected outwards. While said upper cap (40) is closed it is possible both to protect the product in a proper condition in a tube (60) and to reach dental floss (51) without opening said cap (40) thanks to tip on the outlet mouth (44). Therefore, at the same time, the dental floss (51) inside the embodiment (10) may be preserved hygienically as it should be.
In figure 2b, a top plan view of the preferred embodiment of said tube cap means (10) is given, while upper cap (40) is closed. With this way, carrying spool (50) below said cap (40), dental floss (51) passing out from said spool (50) and through said closing means (41 ) and an opening nail (43) projecting slightly outwards are shown.
In figure 3, a side perspective view of the preferred embodiment of said tube cap means (10) is given, while lower body (20) is dissembled. Here, a monolithically embodied outlet channel (21) over said lower body (20) and a holding nail (22) which is embodied seamlessly to provide mounting of said lower body (20) and said upper body (30) with a telescopic system is shown.
In figure 4a, the preferred embodiment of said tube cap means (10) while carrying spool (50) is disassembled, a side perspective view and in figure 4b a top view is shown. The dental floss (51 ) is winded and is ready to be used by pulling easily from said outlet mouth (44).
In figure 5 a cross sectional view of the preferred embodiment of said tube cap means (10) is given. According to this figure, said embodiment (10) is used and connected with tube mouth (61 ) and body (60) by a tube mouth nest (23) located inside said lower body (20) and by grooves (24) configured in said nest (23). The upper body (30) is mounted on holding nail (22) by holding nest (33).
Because of said outlet channel (21) is completely closed by said plug (41.1 ), drying, corruption or damaging from any other outer effects for the product is not possible even the product exists on the said channel (21 ) when said upper cap (40) is in closed position.
Said dental floss (51 ) on said spool (50) located around said channel (21 ) is passing through said channel (42) and taking out from outlet mouth (44) at the opening nail (43). Therefore, taking and using dental floss (51 ) is possible without make any intervention with the upper cap (40). For cutting the dental floss (51) easily the outer edges (44.1) of the outlet mouth (44) is sharpened. Therefore, after pulling enough floss (51 ) out, user may rub said edges (44.1 ) and cut the floss (51 ) by moving said floss (51 ) up and down.
At the same time, the opening nail (43), which is embodied projected outward slightly, provides upper cap (40) to open easily when the product is squeezed. The other element which makes opening of the cap (40) easier is a connection means (45) located backward. At that point, said means (45) provides mounting of the cap (40) to the upper body (30) and movement for the upper cap (40) forward and backward.
In figure 6a and 6b, technical drawings from side which show mounting of the preferred embodiment of the present tube cap means (10) to the tube body (60) and the tube mouth (61 ) are given. The tube mouth (61) is connected to lower body (20) and the product inside the body (60) is taken out by product channel (21 ) while said upper cap (40) is opened. The mentioned product here may be toothpaste, shaving cream, hand-face cream, body lotion etc. a hygienic care product or it may be any other products that can be preserved and may be carried by himself or herself continuously.
