Abstract

Eine Schaltungsanordnung (11) zum Treiben von Leuchtdioden umfasst eine Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15), welche jeweils einen Steuereingang (17, 19) und einen Lastanschluss (18, 20) zum Bereitstellen eines Laststroms (IL1, IL2) an eine ankoppelbare elektrische Last (12, 13), jeweils aufweisend eine Leuchtdiode (12', 13' ), umfassen. Weiter umfasst die Schaltungsanordnung (11) eine Ausgleichsschaltung (16), welche mit den Steuereingängen (17, 19) der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) gekoppelt ist und ausgelegt ist, den jeweiligen Laststrom (IL1, IL2) lastabhängig einzustellen.

Beschreibung
Schaltungsanordnung und Verfahren zum Betreiben von Leuchtdioden
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Schaltungsanordnung zum Betreiben von Leuchtdioden, eine Beleuchtungsanordnung und ein Verfahren zum Betreiben von Leuchtdioden.
Eine Leuchtdiode, abgekürzt LED, wird häufig derart betrie¬ ben, dass eine Stromquelle seriell zur LED angeordnet ist.
Dokument US 2009/0212717 AI befasst sich mit einer Stromquel¬ lenanordnung. Dabei werden mehrere Lastarme, umfassend jeweils eine Leuchtdiode und eine Stromquelle, parallel zwi¬ schen einem Ausgang eines Spannungswandlers und einem Bezugs- potenzialanschluss angeordnet. Der Strom durch jede LED wird von der Stromquelle konstant gehalten. Die Anordnung ist aus¬ gelegt dazu, eine Versorgungsspannung derart einzustellen, dass sie zum Betrieb auch derjenigen Stromquelle ausreichend ist, bei der ein Spannungsabfall über der Stromquelle am ge¬ ringsten ist. In diesem Fall fallen über die anderen Stromquellen höhere Spannungen ab, was zu Verlusten in der Schaltungsanordnung führt.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, eine Schaltungsanordnung zum Betreiben von LEDs, eine Beleuchtungsanordnung und ein Verfahren zum Betreiben von LEDs bereitzustellen, bei denen die Effizienz der Energieausnutzung erhöht ist.
Die Aufgabe wird mit den Gegenständen der Patentansprüche 1 und 14 sowie dem Verfahren gemäß Patentanspruch 15 gelöst. Weiterbildungen und Ausgestaltungen sind jeweils Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche.
In einer Aus führungs form umfasst eine Schaltungsanordnung zum Treiben von LEDs eine Anzahl N von Stromreglern. Die Stromregler umfassen jeweils einen Steuereingang und einen Lastan- schluss zum Bereitstellen eines Laststroms an eine ankoppel¬ bare elektrische Last. Die elektrischen Lasten umfassen jeweils eine LED. Die Schaltungsanordnung umfasst weiter eine Ausgleichsschaltung, welche mit den Steuereingängen der Anzahl N von Stromreglern gekoppelt ist und ausgelegt ist, den jeweiligen Laststrom lastabhängig einzustellen.
Mit Vorteil weist ein Laststrom einen veränderlichen Wert und keinen konstanten Wert auf. Somit kann bei einer LED, die aufgrund einer Exemplarstreuung oder thermischer Einflüsse einen vorgegebenen Wert des Laststroms erst bei höheren Spannungen erreicht, der Laststrom verringert werden, so dass eine geringere Versorgungsspannung zum Betrieb der Schal¬ tungsanordnung ausreichend ist. Vorwärtsspannungen von LEDs weisen beispielsweise eine breite Streuung auf.
In einer Aus führungs form weist die Anzahl N von Stromreglern jeweils eine über dem jeweiligen Stromregler abgreifbare Spannungsdifferenz auf. Die Ausgleichsschaltung stellt den jeweiligen Laststrom derart ein, dass die Spannungsdifferen- zen angenähert werden.
In einer Aus führungs form werden mindestens zwei der Anzahl N von Spannungsdifferenzen aneinander angenähert.
In einer Weiterbildung werden die Spannungsdifferenzen derart mittels der Ausgleichsschaltung angenähert, dass der Unter- schied zweier Spannungsdifferenzen der Anzahl N von Spannungsdifferenzen verringert wird. Der Unterschied kann nach Annäherung der Spannungsdifferenzen den Wert Null betragen, so dass die zwei Spannungsdifferenzen angeglichen sind. Al- ternativ kann der Unterschied einen Wert ungleich Null betragen, so dass die zwei Spannungsdifferenzen auch nach Annäherung verschieden sind.
In einer Weiterbildung ist die über dem jeweiligen Stromreg- 1er abgreifbare Spannungsdifferenz zwischen dem Lastanschluss des jeweiligen Stromreglers und einem Versorgungsanschluss des jeweiligen Stromreglers abgreifbar. Der Versorgungsanschluss ist an einen Versorgungsspannungsanschluss der Schal¬ tungsanordnung oder einen Bezugspotentialanschluss der Schal- tungsanordnung angeschlossen. Der Lastanschluss ist an die jeweilige elektrische Last angeschlossen. Die erste Anzahl N von Stromreglern ist somit an den Versorgungsspannungsanschluss oder den Bezugspotentialanschluss angeschlossen. In einer Aus führungs form ist die Ausgleichsschaltung ausgelegt, den Laststrom bei demjenigen Stromregler zu verringern, der von der Anzahl N von Stromreglern die kleinste Spannungsdifferenz zwischen dem Lastanschluss und dem Versorgungsanschluss des Stromreglers aufweist. Mit Vorteil wird durch die Verringerung des Laststromes bei einem Stromregler eine Erhöhung der Spannungsdifferenz zwischen dem Lastanschluss und dem Versorgungsanschluss des Stromreglers erzielt. Geschieht dies bei dem Stromregler, der von der Anzahl N von Stromreglern den geringsten Wert der Spannungsdifferenz aufweist, so kann der Wert der Versorgungsspannung verringert werden. Damit wird die Energieeffizienz der Anordnung erhöht. In einer Aus führungs form ist die Ausgleichsschaltung ausgelegt, den Laststrom bei demjenigen Stromregler zu erhöhen, der von der Anzahl N von Stromreglern die größte Spannungsdifferenz zwischen dem Lastanschluss und dem Versorgungsanschluss des Stromreglers aufweist. Wird der Laststrom erhöht, so sinkt mit Vorteil die Spannungsdifferenz zwischen dem Lastanschluss und dem Versorgungsanschluss des betreffenden Stromreglers. Je nach der Strom-/Spannungskennlinie eines Stromreglers kann beispielsweise dadurch die im Stromregler anfallende Leistung verringert werden und somit die Effizienz der Energieausnutzung durch die Schaltungsanordnung erhöht werden. Auch sinkt die thermische Belastung des Stromreglers mit der größten Spannungsdifferenz. In einer Weiterbildung wird auch die von den elektrischen Lasten abgegebene Wärme angeglichen, so dass auch die thermische Belastung der LEDs sinkt .
In einer Aus führungs form ist die Ausgleichsschaltung ausgelegt dazu, die Anzahl N von Stromreglern derart einzustellen, dass die Summe der Lastströme konstant ist. Die Lastströme fließen durch die Lastanschlüsse der Anzahl N von Stromreg¬ lern. Mit Vorteil bleibt der Strom, der insgesamt durch die Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten fließt, konstant. Mit der Ausgleichsschaltung wird erzielt, dass der Laststrom durch einen ersten Stromregler aus der Anzahl N von Stromreglern erhöht wird, wenn der Laststrom durch einen zweiten Stromregler aus der Anzahl N von Stromreglern verringert wird.
In einer Aus führungs form ist die Anzahl N von Stromreglern zwei. Alternativ ist die Anzahl N mindestens zwei.
In einer Weiterbildung ist die Schaltungsanordnung automatisch tätig. Die Schaltungsanordnung ist autonom und selbst- tätig in der Lage, die Regelung der Anzahl N der Lastströme durchzuführen .
Die Anzahl N von Stromreglern kann als Anzahl N von Stromquellen oder als Anzahl N von Stromsenken implementiert sein. Die Spannungsdifferenz kann somit eine Stromsenkenspannung sein. Mittels der Ausgleichsschaltung kann somit erreicht werden, dass bei einer möglichst geringen Versorgungsspannung auch die kleinste Stromsenkenspannung einen unteren Grenzwert überschreitet .
In einer Aus führungs form umfasst ein Halbleiterkörper die Schaltungsanordnung. Bevorzugt kann genau ein Halbleiterkörper die Schaltungsanordnung umfassen. Umfasst die Schaltungsanordnung auch einen Spannungswandler, so kann die Schaltungsanordnung auch mindestens einen Kondensator oder eine Induktivität umfassen, die außerhalb des Halbleiterkörpers angeordnet sind und mit dem Halbleiterkörper gekoppelt sind. Die Schaltungsanordnung ist platz- und kosteneffizient reali¬ sierbar .
In einer Aus führungs form umfasst eine Beleuchtungsanordnung die Schaltungsanordnung und die Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten. Jeweils eine der Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten umfasst mindestens eine LED. Dabei ist jeweils ein Stromregler seriell mit einer elektrischen Last verbunden. Umfasst eine elektrische Last mindestens zwei LEDs, so sind die mindestens zwei LEDs in Serie zueinander angeordnet.
In einer Aus führungs form umfasst ein Verfahren zum Treiben von LEDs das Bereitstellen einer Anzahl N von Lastströmen an die Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten. Dabei umfasst eine elektrische Last jeweils mindestens eine LED. Weiter umfasst das Verfahren ein Einstellen des jeweiligen Laststroms in Abhängigkeit von der vom jeweiligen Laststrom betriebenen elektrischen Last. Dabei erfolgt das Einstellen während des Betriebs der elektrischen Lasten.
Mit Vorteil ist somit der Laststrom durch die jeweilige elek¬ trische Last, welche mindestens eine LED aufweist, variabel. Das Einstellen der Anzahl N von Lastströmen kann selbsttätig durchgeführt werden.
In einer Weiterentwicklung werden die Anzahl N von Lastströmen von der Anzahl N von Stromreglern bereitgestellt. Eine Ausgleichsschaltung stellt den jeweiligen Laststrom ein. Das Einstellen kann ohne einen Analog-Digital Wandler und ohne einen Mikroprozessor mit entsprechender Software durchgeführt werden. Die Regelung kann frei von einer Digitalschaltung sein. Die Regelung erfolgt mittels einer Analogschaltung.
In einer Aus führungs form wird der jeweiligen Laststrom derart eingestellt, dass die über den Stromreglern abfallenden Spannungsdifferenzen angenähert werden.
In einer Aus führungs form wird der Laststrom vom jeweiligen Stromregler abgegeben. Der Laststrom fließt durch den jewei- ligen Stromregler. Um die an der Anzahl N von Stromreglern abfallenden Spannungsdifferenzen anzunähern, wird mindestens eine der von der Anzahl N von Stromreglern abgegebenen Lastströme verändert und dadurch mindestens eine der an der An¬ zahl N von Stromreglern abfallenden Spannungsdifferenzen ver- ändert.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend an mehreren Ausführungsbei¬ spielen anhand der Figuren näher erläutert. Funktions- bezie- hungsweise wirkungsgleiche Bauelemente und Schaltungselemente tragen gleiche Bezugszeichen. Insoweit sich Schaltungsteile oder Bauelemente in ihrer Funktion entsprechen, wird deren Beschreibung nicht in jeder der folgenden Figuren wiederholt. Es zeigen:

Figur 1A zeigt eine beispielhafte Aus führungs form einer Be- leuchtungsanordnung nach dem vorgeschlagenen Prinzip. Die Beleuchtungsanordnung 10 umfasst eine Schaltungsanordnung 11 zum Treiben von LEDs sowie eine erste und eine zweite elekt¬ rische Last 12, 13. Die erste und die zweite elektrische Last 12, 13 umfassen jeweils eine Leuchtdiode 12', 13'. Die Schal- tungsanordnung 11 weist eine Anzahl N von Stromreglern 14, 15 und eine Ausgleichsschaltung 16 auf. Die Anzahl N beträgt zwei. Ein erster Stromregler 14 weist einen Steuereingang 17 und einen Lastanschluss 18 auf. Entsprechend weist ein zwei¬ ter Stromregler 15 einen Steuereingang 19 sowie einen Lastan- schluss 20 auf. Ein Versorgungsanschluss der ersten Strom¬ quelle 14 und ein Versorgungsanschluss der zweiten Stromquel¬ le 15 sind an einen Bezugspotentialanschluss 22 angeschlos¬ sen. An den Lastanschluss 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 ist die erste elektrische Last 12 angeschlossen. Entsprechend ist an den Lastanschluss 20 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 die zwei¬ te elektrische Last 13 angeschlossen. Die erste elektrische Last 12 ist somit seriell zur gesteuerten Strecke des ersten Stromreglers 14 und die zweite elektrische Last 13 ist seriell zur gesteuerten Strecke des zweiten Stromreglers 15 angeordnet .
Die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 ist mit den Steuereingängen 17, 19 des ersten und des zweiten Stromreglers 14, 15 verbunden. Der erste und der zweite Stromregler 14, 15 sind jeweils als Stromspiegel realisiert. Ein erster Zweig 21 des Stromspie¬ gels des ersten Stromreglers 14 verbindet den Lastanschluss 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 mit dem Bezugspotenzialan- schluss 22. Entsprechend verbindet ein zweiter Zweig 23 des
Stromspiegels des ersten Stromreglers 14 den Steuereingang 17 des ersten Stromreglers 14 mit dem Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22. Weiter verbindet ein erster Zweig 24 des Stromspiegels des zweiten Stromreglers 15 den Lastanschluss 20 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 mit dem Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22. Ferner verbindet ein zweiter Zweig 25 des Stromspiegels des zweiten Stromreglers 15 den Steuereingang 19 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 mit dem Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22. Die ersten und zwei¬ ten Zweige 21, 23, 24, 25 sind als Stromquellen realisiert.
Der Steuereingang 17 des ersten Stromreglers 14 und der Steuereingang 19 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 sind mit einem Summenknoten 27 der Ausgleichsschaltung 16 gekoppelt. Weiter um- fasst die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 einen ersten und einen zwei- ten Transistor 29, 30. Der Steuereingang 17 des ersten Stromreglers 14 und der Steuereingang 19 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 sind über den ersten und den zweiten Transistor 29, 30 mit dem Summenknoten 27 der Ausgleichsschaltung 16 verbunden. Die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 weist eine Konstantstromquelle 26 auf An den Summenknoten 27 ist die Konstantstromquelle 26 ange¬ schlossen. Die Konstantstromquelle 26 koppelt den Summenkno¬ ten 27 mit einem Versorgungsspannungsanschluss 28. Der erste Transistor 29 ist zwischen dem Summenknoten 27 und dem Steuereingang 17 des ersten Stromreglers 14 angeordnet. Der zwei te Transistor 30 verbindet den Summenknoten 27 mit dem Steuereingang 19 des zweiten Stromreglers 15. Ein Steueranschlus des ersten Transistors 29 ist an den Lastanschluss 20 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 angeschlossen. Entsprechend ist ein Steuereingang des zweiten Transistors 30 an den Lastanschlus 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 angeschlossen.
Darüber hinaus umfasst die Schaltungsanordnung 11 eine erste und zweite Stromquelle 31, 32. Die erste Stromquelle 31 ver¬ bindet den Lastanschluss 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 mit dem Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22. Entsprechend verbindet die zweite Stromquelle 32 den Lastanschluss 20 des zweiten Strom reglers 15 mit dem Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22. Weiter um¬ fasst die Schaltungsanordnung 11 eine Auswahlschaltung 33. Die Auswahlschaltung 33 ist eingangsseitig mit den Lastanschlüssen 18, 20 des ersten und des zweiten Stromreglers 14, 15 verbunden. Darüber hinaus umfasst die Schaltungsanordnung 11 einen Spannungswandler 34. Ein Ausgang des Spannungswandlers 34 ist an den Versorgungsspannungsanschluss 28 ange¬ schlossen. Die Auswahlschaltung 33 ist ausgangsseitig mit ei nem Rückkopplungseingang 35 des Spannungswandlers 34 verbunden .
Eine Eingangsspannung VBAT wird dem Spannungswandler 34 zuge leitet. Die Eingangsspannung VBAT fällt zwischen einem Eingang des Spannungswandlers 34 und dem Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22 ab. Der Spannungswandler 34 wandelt die Eingangs- Spannung VBAT in eine Versorgungsspannung VDD, die am Versor- gungsspannungsanschluss 28 bereitgestellt wird. Der Span¬ nungswandler 34 kann als induktiver oder als kapazitiver Spannungswandler ausgelegt sein. Der Spannungswandler 34 kann ausgelegt sein, eine, zwei oder drei Betriebsarten aus einer Gruppe umfassend eine Buck-Betriebsart , eine Boost-Betriebs- art und eine Buck-Boost-Betriebsart , zur Wandlung der Ein¬ gangsspannung VBAT in die Versorgungsspannung VDD zu verwenden. Die Versorgungsspannung VDD fällt über eine Serienschal- tung, umfassend die erste elektrische Last 12 und den ersten Stromregler 14, sowie über eine weitere Serienschaltung, umfassend die zweite elektrische Last 13 und den zweiten Strom¬ regler 15, gemäß folgender Gleichung ab:
VDD = VLl + VSl = VL2 + VS2,' wobei VLl die über der erste elektrische Last 12 abfallende Lastspannung, VSl die über den ersten Stromregler 14 abfallende erste Spannungsdifferenz, VL2 die über die zweite elektrische Last 13 abfallende Lastspannung und VS2 die über den zweiten Stromregler 15 abfallende zweite Spannungsdiffe¬ renz ist. Die erste Spannungsdifferenz VSl fällt zwischen dem Lastanschluss 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 und dem Versor- gungsanschluss des ersten Stromreglers 14 ab. Entsprechend fällt die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS2 zwischen dem Lastanschluss 20 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 und dem Versorgungsan- schluss des zweiten Stromreglers 15 ab. Die erste und die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VSl, VS2 sind lastabhängig, da sie gemäß obiger Gleichung von den jeweiligen Lastspannungen VLl, VL2 abhängen. Die über den ersten Zweig 21 des ersten Stromreglers 14 abfallende erste Spannungsdifferenz VSl fällt ebenfalls über die erste Stromquelle 31 ab. Analog fällt die über den ersten Zweig 24 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 abfal- lende zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS2 über die zweite Stromquelle 32 ab. Die erste und die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS1, VS2 liegen zwischen den Lastanschlüssen 18, 20 des ersten beziehungsweise zweiten Stromreglers 14, 15 und dem Be- zugspotentialanschluss 22 an.
Die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 leitet ein erstes Steuersignal IS1 dem Steuereingang 17 des ersten Stromreglers 14 zu. Da der erste Stromregler 14 als Stromspiegel realisiert ist, wird das erste Steuersignal IS1 in einen ersten Stromreglerstrom IR1 umgewandelt. Entsprechend stellt die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 am Steuereingang 19 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 ein zweites Steuersignal IS2 bereit. Das zweite Steuersignal IS2 wird vom zweiten Stromregler 15, der als Stromspiegel realisiert ist, in einen zweiten Stromreglerstrom IR2 umgesetzt. Dabei erfolgt die Umsetzung durch den ersten und zweiten Stromregler 14, 15 gemäß folgenden Gleichungen:
IR\ = x - IS\ und IR2 = y - IS2, wobei x der Umsetzfaktor des ersten Stromreglers 14 und y der Umsetzfaktor des zweiten Stromreglers 15 ist. Der erste und der zweite Stromregler 14, 15 werden derart eingestellt, dass die Umsetzfaktoren x und y den gleichen Wert aufweisen. Durch die erste Stromquelle 31 fließt ein erster Stromquellenstrom IQ1 und durch die zweite Stromquelle 32 ein zweiter Strom¬ quellenstrom IQ2. Ein erster Laststrom IL1 fließt durch die erste elektrische Last 12. Entsprechend fließt ein zweiter Laststrom IL2 durch die zweite elektrische Last 13. Der erste und der zweite Laststrom IL1, IL2 können gemäß folgenden Gleichungen berechnet werden:
IL\ = IR\ + IQ\ und IL2 = IR2 + IQ2, Die am ersten Zweig 21 des ersten Stromreglers 14 anfallende erste Spannungsdifferenz VSl wird dem Steueranschluss des zweiten Transistors 30 zugeleitet. Analog wird die am ersten Zweig 24 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 anfallende zweite Span¬ nungsdifferenz VS2 dem Steueranschluss des ersten Transistors 29 zugeführt. Die Konstantstromquelle 26 stellt einen Kon¬ stantstrom IK bereit. Der Konstantstrom IK teilt sich gemäß folgender Gleichung auf das erste Steuersignal IS1 und das zweite Steuersignal IS2 auf:

Der erste und der zweite Transistor 29, 30 sind als p-Kanal Feldeffekttransistoren realisiert. Ist die erste Spannungs¬ differenz VSl größer als die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS2, so wird der zweite Transistor 30 verglichen mit dem ersten Transistor 29 in einen weniger leitenden Zustand versetzt. Somit nimmt das zweite Steuersignal IS2 und entsprechend der zweite Stromreglerstrom IR2 ab. Die Abnahme des zweiten
Stromreglerstroms IR2 führt zu einer Erhöhung der zweiten Spannungsdifferenz VS2. Im Gegenzug dazu erhöht sich der Wert des ersten Steuersignals IS1 und folglich der Wert des ersten Laststroms IR1. Infolgedessen sinkt die erste Spannungsdiffe- renz VSl. Dadurch dass die niedrigere der beiden Spannungs¬ differenzen VSl, VS2, nämlich in diesem Beispiel die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS2, ansteigt und im Gegenzug die höhere der beiden Spannungsdifferenzen VSl, VS2, nämlich in diesem Beispiel die erste Spannungsdifferenz VSl, absinkt, kann der Wert der Versorgungsspannung VDD, der zur Versorgung des ersten und des zweiten Stromreglers 14, 15 ausreichend ist, ab¬ gesenkt werden. Dadurch wird eine erhöhte Effizienz der Energieausnutzung der Eingangsspannung VBAT erzielt. Da der Wert des Konstantstromes IK der Konstantstromquelle 26 sowie der durch die erste Stromquelle 31 fließende erste Stromquellenstrom IQ1 und der durch die zweite Stromquelle 32 fließende zweite Stromquellenstrom IQ2 jeweils konstante Wer- te aufweisen und die Umsetzfaktoren x und y gleich sind, ist die Summe aus dem ersten Laststroms IL1 und dem zweitem Last¬ strom IL2 konstant. Mit der ersten Stromquelle 31 wird er¬ reicht, dass der erste Laststrom IL1 größer oder gleich einem vorgegebenen unteren Laststromwert ist. Entsprechend wird durch die zweite Stromquelle 32 erzielt, dass der zweite
Laststrom IL2 größer oder gleich einem vorgegebenen unteren Laststromwert ist. Mit Vorteil sind der erste und der zweite Laststrom IL1, IL2 innerhalb vorgegebener Stromwerte einstellbar. Damit ist die Funktion der ersten und der zweiten elektrischen Last 12, 13 auch im Schadensfall wie einer Leitungsunterbrechung sichergestellt .
Die erste und die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS1, VS2 werden der Auswahlschaltung 33 zugeleitet. Die Auswahlschaltung 33 stellt an ihrem Ausgang ein Signal bereit, das dem niedrige¬ ren Wert der Werte der ersten Spannungsdifferenz VS1 beziehungsweise der zweiten Spannungsdifferenz VS2 entspricht. Dieses Signal wird dem Rückkopplungseingang 35 des Spannungs¬ wandlers 34 zugeleitet. Entsprechend dem niedrigeren Wert von der ersten Spannungsdifferenz VS1 beziehungsweise der zweiten Spannungsdifferenz VS2 wird der Spannungswandler 34 geregelt.
In einer alternativen, nicht gezeigten Aus führungs form sind der erste und der zweite Transistor 29, 30 als n-Kanal Feld- effekttransistoren realisiert. Dabei wird der Lastanschluss 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 mit dem Steueranschluss des zweiten Transistors 30 und der Lastanschluss 20 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 mit dem Steueranschluss des ersten Transis¬ tors 29 verbunden.
In einer alternativen, nicht gezeigten Aus führungs form weist der Umsetzfaktor x einen anderen Wert als der Umsetzfaktor y auf .
Figur 1B zeigt eine beispielhafte Aus führungs form einer Beleuchtungsanordnung nach dem vorgeschlagenen Prinzip, welche eine Weiterbildung der in Figur 1A gezeigten Aus führungs form ist. Gemäß Figur 1B ist die erste und die zweite elektrische Last 12, 13 an den Bezugspotentialanschluss 22 angeschlossen. Entsprechend sind der erste und der zweite Stromregler 14, 15 sowie die erste und die zweite Stromquelle 31, 32 an den Ver- sorgungsspannungsanschluss 28 angeschlossen. Dabei sind der Versorgungsanschluss des ersten Stromreglers 14 und der Ver- sorgungsanschluss des zweiten Stromreglers 15 an den Versor¬ gungsspannungsanschluss 28 angeschlossen. Der erste Stromreg¬ ler 14 und der erste Transistor 29 koppeln den Versorgungs- spannungsanschluss 28 mit dem Summenknoten 27. Analog koppeln der zweite Stromregler 15 und der zweite Transistor 30 den Versorgungsspannungsanschluss 28 mit dem Summenknoten 27. Die Konstantstromquelle 26 koppelt den Summenknoten 27 mit dem Bezugspotentialanschluss 22. Der erste und der zweite Zweig 21, 23 des ersten Stromreglers 14 umfassen jeweils einen
Transistor, die als Stromspiegel verbunden sind. Weiter umfassen der erste und der zweite Zweig 24, 25 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 jeweils einen Transistor, welche als Strom¬ spiegel verbunden sind. Der erste und der zweite Transistor 29, 30 sind als n-Kanal Feldeffekttransistoren realisiert.
Ein Knoten zwischen dem ersten Stromregler 14 und der ersten elektrischen Last 12 ist mit dem Steueranschluss des zweiten Transistors 30 verbunden. Analog ist ein Knoten zwischen dem zweiten Stromregler 15 und der zweiten elektrischen Last 13 mit dem Steueranschluss des ersten Transistors 29 verbunden.
Die erste und die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS1, VS2 liegen zwischen den Lastanschlüssen 18, 20 des ersten beziehungsweise zweiten Stromreglers 14, 15 und dem Versorgungsspannungs- anschluss 28 an.
Durch den ersten Transistor 29 fließt ein erster Transistor- ström IT1 und durch den zweiten Transistor 30 ein zweiter
Transistorstrom IT2. Die beiden Transistoren des ersten und des zweiten Zweigs 21, 23 des ersten Stromreglers 14 sind derart ausgelegt, dass der Stromspiegel des ersten Stromreg¬ lers 14 einen Umsetzfaktor x aufweist. Der Wert des ersten Stromreglerstroms IR1 ergibt sich aus dem Wert des ersten
Transistorstroms IT1 gemäß der Gleichung IR1 = x * IT1. Ana¬ log sind die beiden Transistoren des ersten und des zweiten Zweigs 24, 25 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 derart ausgelegt, dass der Stromspiegels des zweiten Stromreglers 15 einen Um- setzfaktor y aufweist. Der Wert des zweiten Stromreglerstroms IR2 ergibt sich aus dem Wert des zweiten Transistorstroms IT2 gemäß der Gleichung IR2 = y * IT2. Die Umsetzfaktoren x und y der Stromspiegel des ersten und des zweiten Stromreglers 14, 15 sind größer oder gleich 1. Die erste und die zweite elekt- rische Last 12, 13 werden somit mit einem hochgespiegelten ersten und einem hochgespiegelten zweiten Laststrom IL1, IL2 betrieben. Die Schaltungsanordnung 11 bewirkt, dass der erste Laststrom IL1 zwischen einem unteren Laststromwert und einem oberen vorgegebenen Laststromwert ist. Analog nimmt auch der zweite Laststrom IL2 ausschließlich Werte zwischen dem vorgegebenen unteren Laststromwert und dem vorgegebenen oberen Laststromwert an. In einer alternativen, nicht gezeigten Aus führungs form sind der erste und der zweite Transistor 29, 30 als p-Kanal Feld¬ effekttransistoren realisiert. Figur IC zeigt eine beispielhafte Aus führungs form einer Be¬ leuchtungsanordnung nach dem vorgeschlagenen Prinzip, die eine Weiterbildung der in den Figuren 1A und 1B gezeigten Ausführungsformen ist. Gemäß Figur IC wird die erste elektrische Last 12 ausschließlich vom ersten Stromregler 14 und nicht zusätzlich auch von der ersten Stromquelle 31 versorgt. Entsprechend wird die zweite elektrische Last 13 gemäß Figur IC ausschließlich vom zweiten Stromregler 15 und nicht zusätzlich auch von der zweiten Stromquelle 32 versorgt. Die Aus¬ gleichsschaltung 16 umfasst einen ersten Ausgleichsstromspie- gel 50 und eine erste Gleichstromquelle 51, welche parallel zueinander angeordnet sind. Die Gleichstromquelle 51 ist als Konstantstromquelle realisiert. Die Parallelschaltung aus der ersten Gleichstromquelle 51 und dem ersten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50 koppelt den Versorgungsspannungsanschluss 28 mit dem Steuereingang 17 des ersten Stromreglers 14. Entsprechend umfasst die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 einen zweiten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 52 und eine zweite Gleichstromquelle 53, die pa¬ rallel zueinander angeordnet sind. Die Parallelschaltung aus dem zweiten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 52 und der zweiten Gleich- Stromquelle 53 verbindet den Versorgungsspannungsanschluss 28 mit dem Steuereingang 19 des zweiten Stromreglers 15.
Der erste Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50 weist einen ersten und einen zweiten Ausgleichstransistor 54, 55 auf. Die gesteuerte Strecke des ersten Ausgleichstransistors 54 ist parallel zur ersten Gleichstromquelle 51 angeordnet. Der Steueranschluss des ersten Ausgleichstransistors 54 ist mit dem Steueran¬ schluss des zweiten Ausgleichstransistors 55 und einem ersten Anschluss des zweiten Ausgleichstransistors 55 verbunden. Ein zweiter Anschluss des ersten und des zweiten Ausgleichstransistors 54, 55 ist am Versorgungsspannungsanschluss 28 ange¬ schlossen. Der zweite Ausgleichsstromspiegel 52 umfasst einen dritten und einen vierten Ausgleichstransistor 56, 57, die analog wie der erste und der zweite Ausgleichstransistor 54, 55 angeordnet und verbunden sind.
Die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 umfasst einen dritten und einen vierten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 60, 61. Der dritte Ausgleichs¬ stromspiegel 60 koppelt den ersten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50 mit dem ersten Transistor 29. Entsprechend koppelt der vierte Ausgleichsstromspiegel 61 den zweiten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 52 mit dem zweiten Transistor 30. Der dritte Ausgleichsstrom- spiegel 60 umfasst einen fünften und einen sechsten Ausgleichstransistor 62, 63. Die gesteuerte Strecke des fünften Ausgleichstransistors 62 koppelt den Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22 mit der gesteuerten Strecke des zweiten Ausgleichstransis¬ tors 55. Die gesteuerte Strecke des sechsten Ausgleichstran- sistors 63 verbindet den Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22 mit dem ersten Transistor 29. Ein Steueranschluss des fünften Ausgleichstransistors 62 ist mit einem Steueranschluss des sechsten Ausgleichstransistors 63 sowie mit einem Knoten zwi¬ schen dem ersten Transistor 29 und dem sechsten Ausgleichs- transistor 63 verbunden. Entsprechend umfasst der vierte Aus¬ gleichsstromspiegel 61 einen siebten und einen achten Aus¬ gleichstransistor 64, 65, die entsprechend dem fünften und dem sechsten Ausgleichstransistor 62, 63 angeordnet und verbunden sind.
Der erste Stromregler 14 ist somit über den ersten und den dritten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50, 60 sowie den ersten Tran¬ sistor 29 mit dem Summenknoten 27 verbunden. Entsprechend ist der zweite Stromregler 15 über den zweiten und den vierten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 52, 65 sowie den zweiten Transistor mit dem Summenknoten 27 verbunden.
Der Spannungsregler 34 umfasst eine Steuereinheit 70 sowie eine Spannungsreglerschaltung 71. Die Spannungsreglerschal¬ tung 71 ist als Aufwärtsregler realisiert. Die Spannungsreg¬ lerschaltung 71 umfasst eine Induktivität 72 sowie einen ers¬ ten und einen zweiten Spannungsreglertransistor 73, 74. Der Eingang des Spannungswandlers 34 ist mit einem ersten An- schluss der Induktivität 72 verbunden. Ein zweiter Anschluss der Induktivität 72 ist über den ersten Spannungswandlertransistor 73 mit dem Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22 und über den zweiten Spannungswandlertransistor 74 mit dem Ausgang des Spannungswandlers 34 und damit mit dem Spannungsversorgungs- anschluss 28 verbunden. Darüber hinaus umfasst die Spannungs¬ wandlerschaltung 71 einen ersten und einen zweiten Speicherkondensator 75, 76, die den Eingang beziehungsweise den Ausgang der Spannungswandlerschaltung 71 mit dem Bezugspotenzialanschluss 22 verbinden. Die Steuereinheit 70 weist einen Verstärker 77 auf. Ein erster Eingang des Verstärkers 77 ist über den Rückkoppeleingang 35 mit dem Ausgang der Auswahlschaltung 33 verbunden. Ein zweiter Eingang des Verstärkers 77 ist über eine Referenzspannungsquelle 78 mit dem Bezugspo¬ tenzialanschluss 22 verbunden. Der Verstärker 77 kann als Komparator realisiert sein.
Der erste und der zweite Transistor 29, 30 sind als p-Kanal Feldeffekttransistoren ausgebildet. Der Lastanschluss 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 ist mit dem Steueranschluss des zwei¬ ten Transistors 30 gekoppelt. Entsprechend ist der Lastan¬ schluss 20 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 mit dem Steueran¬ schluss des ersten Transistors 29 gekoppelt. Die Parallelschaltung des ersten Ausgleichsstromspiegels 50 und der ersten Gleichstromquelle 51 bewirkt, dass der erste Laststrom ILl größer oder gleich dem unteren vorgegebenen Laststromwert ist. Mithilfe der Konstantstromquelle 26 wird erzielt, dass der durch den ersten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50 fließende Stromwert kleiner oder gleich dem Wert des Kon¬ stantstrom IK ist. Dadurch ergibt sich, dass der erste Laststrom ILl kleiner oder gleich dem oberen vorgegebenen Laststromwert ist. Analog nimmt auch der zweite Laststrom IL2 ausschließlich Werte zwischen dem vorgegebenen unteren Laststromwert und dem vorgegebenen oberen Laststromwert an.
Ist die erste Spannungsdifferenz VSl kleiner als die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS2, so ist der durch den zweiten Transis- tor 30 fließende Strom IT2 größer als der durch den ersten Transistor 29 fließende Strom IT1. Dadurch wird mittels des zweiten und des vierten Ausgleichsstromspiegels 52, 65 be¬ wirkt, dass das zweite Steuersignal IS2 und damit der zweite Stromreglerstrom IR2 ansteigt und folglich zu einem anstei- genden Wert des zweiten Laststroms IL2 führt. Hingegen verringert sich der durch den ersten Transistor 29 fließende Strom IT1, folglich auch der durch den ersten und den dritten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50, 60 fließende erste Spiegelstrom IB1 und damit der durch den ersten Stromregler 14 fließende erste Stromreglerstrom IR1. Der infolgedessen abnehmende erste Laststrom ILl führt zu einem Anstieg der ersten Spannungs¬ differenz VSl. Mit Vorteil wird somit die erste Spannungsdif¬ ferenz VSl an die zweite Spannungsdifferenz VS2 angenähert. Da die niedrigere der beiden Spannungsdifferenzen VSl, VS2 angehoben und die höhere der beiden Spannungsdifferenzen VSl, VS2 verringert wird, kann der Wert der Versorgungsspannung VDD abgesenkt werden. Dies führt zu einer Verringerung der ohmschen Verluste in demjenigen Stromregler, der den höheren Wert der Spannungsdifferenz VS1, VS2 aufweist.
Der Wert des ersten Gleichstromes IA1, welcher durch die erste Gleichstromquelle 51 fließt, ist identisch mit dem Wert des zweiten Gleichstromes IA2, welcher durch die zweite
Gleichstromquelle 53 fließt und konstant. Der Wert des ersten Gleichstromes IA1 entspricht einem Wert IBIAS * (1 - F), wo¬ bei IBIAS der Stromwert einer nicht gezeigten Referenzstrom- quelle und F ein Faktor ist, der das Ungleichgewicht der Ver¬ sorgung der ersten elektrischen Last 12 zur zweiten elektrischen Last 13 ausdrückt. Der Faktor F ist fest in der Schal¬ tungsanordnung 11 eingestellt. Alternativ kann der Faktor F im Betrieb einstellbar sein. Der Konstantstrom IK, das erste und das zweite Steuersignal IS1, IS2 können Werte gemäß fol¬ genden Gleichungen annehmen:

Der erste und der zweite Laststrom IL1, IL2 können somit Werte aus folgenden Bereichen annehmen: x IBIAS · (1 - F) < IL\ < x IBIAS · (1 + F) und y IBIAS (1 - F) < IL2 < y IBIAS (1 + F), wobei x der Umsetzfaktor des Stromspiegels des ersten Stromreglers 14, y der Umsetzfaktor des Stromspiegels des zweiten Stromreglers 15, F der Ungleichgewichtsfaktor und IBIAS der Stromwert einer nicht gezeigten Referenzstromquelle ist. Be- vorzugt gilt x = y. In diesem Fall ist die Summe der beiden Lastströme IL1, IL2 konstant und ergibt sich aus folgender Gleichung : IL\ + IL2 = x - IBIAS - 2
Die Umsetzfaktoren x und y der Stromspiegel des ersten und des zweiten Stromreglers 14, 15 sind größer 1. Die erste und die zweite elektrische Last 12, 13 werden somit mit einem hochgespiegelten ersten und einem hochgespiegelten zweiten Laststrom IL1, IL2 betrieben. Somit wird erreicht, dass die Ströme, die durch den ersten und den zweiten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50, 52 und durch die erste und die zweite Gleich¬ stromquelle 51, 53 fließen, nur kleine Werte aufweisen und somit eine hohe Effizienz der Energieausnutzung erzielt wird.
Die Auswahlschaltung 33 stellt ausgangsseitig den kleineren Wert der beiden Werte der ersten und der zweiten Spannungsdifferenz VS1, VS2 am ersten Eingang des Verstärkers 77 be- reit. Der Verstärker 77 vergleicht die niedrigere der beiden Spannungsdifferenzen VS1, VS2 mit einem Referenzspannungswert VR, der von der Referenzspannungsquelle 78 bereitgestellt wird. Unterschreitet die niedrigere der beiden Spannungsdif¬ ferenzen VS1, VS2 den Referenzspannungswert VR, so steuert die Steuereinheit 70 die Spannungswandlerschaltung 71 derart an, dass die Versorgungsspannung VDD am Versorgungsspannungs- anschluss 28 steigt. Der Wert der Versorgungsspannung VDD wird so lange angehoben, bis der Wert der niedrigeren der beiden Spannungsdifferenzen VS1, VS2 größer als die Referenz- Spannung VR ist. Zur Aufwärtswandlung wird der erste Spannungswandlertransistor 73 abwechselnd mit dem zweiten Spannungswandlertransistor 74 leitend geschaltet. Ist in einer ersten Phase der erste Spannungswandlertransistor 73 leitend geschaltet, so steigt der Wert des Stromflusses durch die In¬ duktivität 72 an. In einer zweiten Phase ist der erste Spannungswandlertransistor 73 sperrend und der zweite Spannungs¬ wandlertransistor 74 leitend geschaltet. In der zweiten Phase fließt aufgrund der in der Induktivität 72 gespeicherten Energie ein Strom zum zweiten Speicherkondensator 76 und führt zu einer Erhöhung des Wertes der Ausgangsspannung VDD.
In einer alternativen, nicht gezeigten Aus führungs form kann anstelle eines Boost-Wandlers ein Buck-Wandler oder ein Buck- Boost-Wandler eingesetzt sein. Anstelle der induktiven Spannungswandlerschaltung 71 kann eine kapazitive Spannungswand¬ lerschaltung realisiert sein. Die kapazitive Spannungswand¬ lerschaltung kann als Aufwärts-, Abwärts- oder Aufwärts-/Ab- wärts-Wandler ausgebildet sein.
In einer alternativen, nicht gezeigten Aus führungs form sind der erste und der zweite Transistor 29, 30 als n-Kanal Feld¬ effekttransistoren realisiert. Der Lastanschluss 18 des ers- ten Stromreglers 14 ist dann an den Steueranschluss des ers¬ ten Transistors 29 und der Lastanschluss 20 des zweiten
Stromreglers 15 ist an den Steueranschluss des zweiten Tran¬ sistors 30 angeschlossen. Figur 2 zeigt eine beispielhafte Aus führungs form einer Beleuchtungsanordnung nach dem vorgeschlagenen Prinzip, die eine Weiterbildung der in den Figuren 1A bis IC gezeigten Ausführungsformen ist. Die Beleuchtungsanordnung 10 gemäß Figur 2 umfasst die erste und die zweite elektrische Last 12, 13 sowie eine dritte elektrische Last 90. Die erste elektrische Last 12 umfasst die LED 12' sowie zwei weitere LEDs 91, 92. Die zweite elektrische Last 13 weist die LED 13' sowie eine LED 93 auf. Die dritte elektrische Last 90 umfasst eine LED 94. Die dritte elektrische Last 90 wird von einem dritten Stromregler 95 betrieben. Die dritte elektrische Last 90 ist in Serie zum dritten Stromregler 95 angeordnet. Im Unterschied zu den Figuren 1A bis IC sind die erste, die zweite und die dritte elektrische Last 12, 13, 90 an den Bezugspo- tenzialanschluss 22 angeschlossen. Entsprechend sind der ers¬ te, der zweite und der dritte Stromregler 14, 15, 95 über ihren jeweiligen Versorgungsanschluss an den Versorgungsspan- nungsanschluss 28 angeschlossen. Die erste und die zweite Stromquelle 31, 32 verbinden den Versorgungsspannungsan- schluss 28 mit dem Lastanschluss 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 und dem Lastanschluss 20 des zweiten Stromreglers 15. Wei¬ ter verbindet eine dritte Stromquelle 100 den Versorgungs- spannungsanschluss 28 mit einem Lastanschluss 97 des dritten Stromreglers 95. Demzufolge sind der erste, der zweite und ein fünfter Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50, 52, 101 an den Bezugs- potenzialanschluss 22 angeschlossen.
Die Konstantstromquelle 26 koppelt den Versorgungsspannungs- anschluss 28 mit dem Summenknoten 27. Der Summenknoten 27 ist über den ersten Transistor 29 mit dem ersten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 50, über den zweiten Transistor 30 mit dem zweiten Ausgleichsstromspiegel 52 sowie über einen dritten Transistor 102 mit dem fünften Ausgleichsstromspiegel 101 verbunden. Der Steueranschluss des ersten Transistors 29 ist mit dem Lastan¬ schluss 18 des ersten Stromreglers 14 verbunden. Weiter ist der Steueranschluss des zweiten Transistors 30 mit dem Last¬ anschluss 20 des zweiten Stromreglers 15 verbunden. Darüber hinaus ist der Steueranschluss des dritten Transistors 102 mit dem Lastanschluss 97 des dritten Stromreglers 95 verbun¬ den. Der erste, der zweite und der dritte Transistor 29, 30, 102 sind als p-Kanal Transistoren realisiert. Die Beleuch¬ tungsanordnung 10 gemäß Figur 2 weist somit eine Anzahl N von Stromreglern 14, 15, 95 auf, wobei die Anzahl N den Wert drei hat. Eine dritte Spannungsdifferenz VS3 fällt zwischen einem Lastanschluss 97 des dritten Stromreglers 95 und einem Ver- sorgungsanschluss des dritten Stromreglers 95 ab, der an den Versorgungsspannungsanschluss 28 angeschlossen ist.
In einer alternativen, nicht gezeigten Aus führungs form umfasst die Schaltungsanordnung 11 mindestens einen weiteren Stromregler zur Versorgung mindestens einer weiteren elektri- sehen Last. Der mindestens eine weitere Stromregler kann wie der dritte Stromregler 95 aufgebaut sein. Die mindestens eine weitere elektrische Last kann wie die dritte elektrische Last 90 realisiert sein. Die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 kann mindestens einen weiteren Zweig aufweisen, welcher jeweils einen Transistor und einen Ausgleichsstromspiegel umfasst.
Figur 3 zeigt eine beispielhafte Aus führungs form einer Beleuchtungsanordnung, die eine Weiterbildung der in den Figuren 1A bis IC sowie 2 gezeigten Aus führungs formen ist. Die Beleuchtungsanordnung 10 umfasst die erste und die zweite elektrische Last 12, 13, den ersten und den zweiten Stromreg¬ ler 14, 15 und die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 wie in Figur IC dargestellt. Die dritte elektrische Last 90 sowie eine vierte elektrische Last 109 werden vom dritten Stromregler 95, einem vierten Stromregler 111 sowie einer weiteren Ausgleichsschaltung 112 versorgt, die wie der erste und der zweite Stromreg¬ ler 14, 15 sowie die Ausgleichsschaltung 16 realisiert sind. Während in Figur 2 drei elektrische Lasten 12, 13, 95 hinsichtlich ihrer Lastströme IL1, IL2, IL3 so eingestellt wer- den, dass eine möglichst hohe Energieeffizienz erzielt wird, wird gemäß Figur 3 ein Ausgleich zwischen der ersten und der zweiten elektrischen Last 12, 13 sowie zwischen der dritten und der vierten elektrischen Last 90, 110 durchgeführt. Eine weitere Auswahlschaltung 113 koppelt die Lastanschlüsse 97, 115 des dritten und des vierten Stromreglers 95, 111 mit dem Spannungswandler 34. Dabei ist der Ausgang der Auswahlschaltung 33 und der Ausgang der weiteren Auswahlschaltung 113 über eine zusätzliche Auswahlschaltung 118 mit dem Rückkoppeleingang 35 des Spannungswandlers 34 verbunden. Die weitere Auswahlschaltung 113 und die zusätzliche Auswahlschaltung 118 sind wie die Auswahlschaltung 33 implementiert. Weiter umfasst die Schaltungsanordnung 11 eine Referenzstromquelle 119, die ausgangsseitig mit der Ausgleichsschaltung 16 und der weiteren Ausgleichsschaltung 112 verbunden ist. Die Referenzstromquelle 119 ist mit der Konstantstromquelle 26 und der ersten sowie der zweiten Gleichstromquelle 51, 53 verbunden, welche in Figur IC gezeigt sind. Entsprechend kann die Referenzstromquelle 119 mit der Konstantstromquelle 26 und der ersten, zweiten und/oder dritten Stromquelle 31, 32, 100 verbunden sein, welche in den Figuren 1A, 1B und 2 gezeigt sind. Die Referenzstromquelle 119 ist eingangsseitig mit dem Ausgang der Auswahlschaltung 33 und dem Ausgang der weiteren Auswahlschaltung 113 verbunden.
Die dritte Spannungsdifferenz VS3 fällt zwischen dem Lastan- schluss 97 des dritten Stromreglers 95 und dem Versorgungsan- schluss des dritten Stromreglers 95 ab, der an den Bezugspo- tentialanschluss 22 angeschlossen ist. Eine vierte Spannungs¬ differenz VS4 fällt zwischen einem Lastanschluss 115 des vierten Stromreglers 111 und einem Versorgungsanschluss des vierten Stromreglers 111 ab, der an den Bezugspotentialan- schluss 22 angeschlossen ist.
Die Referenzstromquelle 119 stellt einen ersten und einen zweiten Referenzstrom IBI1, IBI2 bereit. Der erste Referenz- ström IBI1 wird zur Generierung des Konstantstroms IK, des ersten und des zweiten Gleichstroms IA1, IA2 in der Aus¬ gleichsschaltung 16 eingesetzt. Der zweite Referenzstrom IBI2 wird zur Erzeugung des Konstantstroms, des ersten und des zweiten Gleichstroms in der weiteren Ausgleichsschaltung 112 verwendet. Die Referenzstromquelle 119 kann ähnlich der Aus¬ gleichsschaltung 16 realisiert sein. Die Referenzstromquelle 119 stellt den ersten und den zweiten Referenzstrom IBI1, IBI2 in Abhängigkeit der Signale an den Ausgängen der Aus- wahlschaltung 33 und der weiteren Auswahlschaltung 113 bereit. Die Schaltungsanordnung 11 dient zur kaskadierten Versorgung der elektrischen Lasten 12, 13, 90, 109. Sie generiert die Konstantströme IK in der Ausgleichschaltung 16 und der weiteren Ausgleichsschaltung 112 kaskadiert.
In einer alternativen, nicht gezeigten Aus führungs form um- fasst die Beleuchtungsanordnung weitere elektrische Lasten, die paarweise zusammengefasst sind und mittels Stromregler und mindestens einer zusätzlichen Ausgleichsschaltung betrie- ben werden. Beispielsweise können vier weitere elektrische Lasten wie die erste, zweite, dritte und vierte elektrische Last 12, 13, 90, 109 versorgt werden. Weiter kann eine zusätzliche Referenzstromquelle die vier Stromregler für die vier weiteren Lasten steuern. Eine weitere Referenzstromquel- le kann wiederum die Referenzstromquelle 119 und die zusätz¬ liche Referenzstromquelle steuern.
Die Schaltungsanordnung 11 kann dazu ausgelegt sein, dass sie für die Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten 12, 13, 90, 109 die jeweiligen Lastströme III, IL2, IL3, IL4 kaskadiert bereit¬ stellt, wobei N = 2M gilt. Mit der Beleuchtungsanordnung 10 gemäß Figur 3 kann eine hohe Effizienz der Energieausnutzung erzielt werden. Sollten beispielsweise die erste und die zweite elektrische Last 12, 13 aufgrund ihrer Bauart deutlich höhere Lastströme ILl, IL2 be¬ nötigen als die dritte und die vierte elektrische Last 94, 109, kann mit einer Anordnung gemäß Figur 3 eine bessere Beleuchtungswirkung erzielt werden, als es beim Zusammenführen der vier elektrischen Lasten 12, 13, 90, 109 über einen Summenknoten 27 möglich wäre.
Mit Vorteil wird durch das paarweise Zusammenschalten der elektrischen Lasten erzielt, dass die vier Lastströme ILl, IL2, IL3, IL4 ausschließlich Werte in vorgegebenen Bereichen annehmen können und daher nur in einem engen Rahmen voneinander abweichen. Mit Vorteil wird dadurch eine besonders hohe Homogenität der Beleuchtung mittels der LEDs 12', 13', 94, 110 erzielt.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Schaltungsanordnung zum Treiben von Leuchtdioden, umfassend
- eine Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15), welche jeweils einen Steuereingang (17, 19) und einen Lastanschluss (18, 20) zum Bereitstellen eines Laststroms (IL1, IL2) an eine ankoppelbare elektrische Last (12, 13), jeweils aufweisend eine Leuchtdiode (12', 13' ), umfassen und je- weils eine über dem jeweiligen Stromregler (14, 15) abgreifbare Spannungsdifferenz (VS1, VS2) aufweisen, und eine Ausgleichsschaltung (16), welche mit den Steuereingängen (17, 19) der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) gekoppelt ist und ausgelegt ist, den jeweiligen Last- ström (IL1, IL2) derart einzustellen, dass die Spannungsdifferenzen (VS1, VS2) angenähert werden.
2. Schaltungsanordnung nach Anspruch 1,
bei der die über dem jeweiligen Stromregler (14, 15) abgreifbare Spannungsdifferenz (VS1, VS2) zwischen dem Lastanschluss (18, 20) des jeweiligen Stromreglers (14, 15) und einem Ver- sorgungsanschluss des jeweiligen Stromreglers (14, 15) abgreifbar ist.
3. Schaltungsanordnung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
bei der die Ausgleichsschaltung (16) ausgelegt ist, den Laststrom (IL1, IL2) bei demjenigen Stromregler (14, 15) zu verringern, der von der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) die kleinste Spannungsdifferenz (VS1, VS2) zwischen dem Lastan- schluss (18, 20) und einem Versorgungsanschluss (22) des Stromreglers (14, 15) aufweist.

Schaltungsanordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, bei der die Ausgleichsschaltung (16) ausgelegt ist, den Last- strom (IL1, IL2) bei demjenigen Stromregler (14, 15) zu erhöhen, der von der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) die größte Spannungsdifferenz (VS1, VS2) zwischen dem Lastanschluss (18, 20) und einem Versorgungsanschluss des Stromreglers (14, 15) aufweist.

Schaltungsanordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei der die Ausgleichsschaltung (16) ausgelegt ist, die An- zahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) derart einzustellen, dass die Summe der Lastströme (IL1, IL2), die durch die Lastanschlüsse (18, 20) der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) fließen, konstant ist.
6. Schaltungsanordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, bei der die erste Anzahl N von Stromregler (14, 15) und die Ausgleichsschaltung (16) derart ausgelegt sind, dass der je¬ weilige Laststrom (IL1, IL2), der durch eine der Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten (12, 13) fließt, größer oder gleich einem vorgegebenen unteren Laststromwert ist.
7. Schaltungsanordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, bei der die erste Anzahl N von Stromregler (14, 15) und die Ausgleichsschaltung (16) derart ausgelegt sind, dass der je- weilige Laststrom (IL1, IL2), der durch eine der Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten (12, 13) fließt, kleiner oder gleich einem vorgegebenen oberen Laststromwert ist.
8. Schaltungsanordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, die Ausgleichsschaltung (16) umfassend eine Konstantstromquelle (26) und einen Summenknoten (27), der mit den Steuereingängen (17, 19) der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) gekoppelt ist und der über die Konstantstromquelle (26) mit ei- nem Versorgungsspannungsanschluss (28) oder einem Bezugspo- tentialanschluss (22) verbunden ist.
9. Schaltungsanordnung nach Anspruch 8,
die Ausgleichsschaltung (16) umfassend die Anzahl N von Transistoren (29, 30), wobei jeweils ein Transistor (29, 30) zwischen jeweils einem Steuereingang (17, 19) der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) und dem Summenknoten (27) angeordnet ist und der Transistor (29, 30) steuerseitig mit dem Lastan- schluss (18, 20) eines Stromreglers (14, 15) der ersten Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) verbunden ist.
10. Schaltungsanordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, bei der mindestens ein Stromregler (14, 15) der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) als Stromspiegel ausgelegt ist, der mit dem Lastanschluss (18, 20) des jeweiligen Stromreglers (14, 15) und dem Steuereingang (17, 19) des jeweiligen Stromreglers (14, 15) verbunden ist.
11. Schaltungsanordnung nach Anspruch 10,
die Ausgleichsschaltung (16) umfassend die Anzahl N von Steuerschaltungen, die jeweils eine Gleichstromquelle (51, 53) und einen Ausgleichsstromspiegel (50, 52) umfassen, wobei ein erster Zweig des Ausgleichsstromspiegels (50, 52) und die Gleichstromquelle (51, 53) parallel zueinander und zwischen einem Versorgungsspannungsanschluss (28) beziehungsweise ei¬ nem Bezugspotentialanschluss (22) und dem Steuereingang (17, 19) des dazugehörenden Stromreglers (14, 15) angeordnet sind und ein zweiter Zweig des Ausgleichsstromspiegels (51, 53) mit dem Summenknoten (27) gekoppelt ist.
12. Schaltungsanordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, umfassend eine Auswahlschaltung (33), die eingangsseitig mit den Lastanschlüssen (18, 20) der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) verbunden ist und ausgelegt ist, an einem Ausgang ein Rückkoppelsignal bereitzustellen, das von der kleinsten Spannungsdifferenz (VS1, VS2) zwischen dem Lastanschluss (18, 20) und einem Versorgungsanschluss (22) des Stromreglers (14, 15) abhängt.
13. Schaltungsanordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, umfassend einen Spannungswandler (34), der zur elektrischen
Versorgung der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15), der ankoppelbaren elektrischen Lasten (12, 13) und der Ausgleichsschaltung (16) ausgelegt ist.
14. Beleuchtungsanordnung (10),
umfassend die Schaltungsanordnung (11) nach einem der Ansprü¬ che 1 bis 13 und die Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten (12, 13), wobei jeweils ein Stromregler (14, 15) der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14,1 5) mit einer elektrischen Last (12, 13) der Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten (12, 13) verbunden ist und jeweils eine elektrische Last (12, 13) der Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten (12, 13) mindestens eine Leuchtdiode (12', 13') umfasst.
15. Verfahren zum Treiben von Leuchtdioden, umfassend
Bereitstellen einer Anzahl N von Lastströmen (IL1, IL2) mittels der Anzahl N von Stromreglern (14, 15) an die Anzahl N von elektrischen Lasten (12, 13), umfassend jeweils mindestens eine Leuchtdiode (12', 13'), und
- Einstellen des jeweiligen Laststromes (IL1, IL2) in Abhängigkeit von der vom jeweiligen Laststrom (IL1, IL2) betriebenen elektrischen Last (12, 13) während des Betriebs der elektrischen Lasten (12, 13) derart, dass über den Stromreglern (14, 15) abfallende Spannungsdifferenzen (VS1, VS2) angenähert werden.
